Which shoes should I use when I do Squat?
Let's see together the different types of shoes for squatting
Elevated Heel Lifting shoes
Low Heel Lifting shoes
Flat shoes
Before even thinking about those, make sure your technique is good!
Flat shoes
Good stability
Deep squat without shoes on? A flat squat will be fine
You need to go deeper to break the parallel due to the flat sole
Great for people with a good proportion of Height/weight
Cons? you will be loaded too much on the heel rather than the entire foot
Unilateral exercises are a great tool to strengthen your body

1. Set-up
Stand in a normal stance
Trunk straight
Core is active
Hands-on hips
Look forward
2. Execution
Bring the left leg back while bending the knees and lower your body until the back knee is close to the ground
The front thigh is parallel to the floor
Back knee points toward the ground
Push back and return to the starting position
