01. ‘Science’ + fear.

02. Affairs, Christmas and garden parties for some; relatives dying unseen, undiagnosed cancer, a childhood mental health crisis, for others.

03. Stay Home, Protect the NHS, Save Lives.
Hands, Face, Space.

04. Groups of leaders and decision-makers emerged. The Press Conference Trios. The Quad.

05. Much of the middle classes were able to embrace a new, chilled out, lower intensity, commute-free WFH culture.

06. The state of emergency provided opportunities for the entrepreneurial to profit.

07. Some were rewarded handsomely, via their connections, amid a landscape of vested interests.

08. At times there was disharmony at the top on approach and the balance of lives versus the economy and quality of life.

09. Many experienced whole seasons of furlough. Paid time off, courtesy of the taxpayer.

10. Long-standing pandemic plans were torn up, cast aside.

11. The media were muzzled by Ofcom, yet many savaged alternative narratives and strategies.

12. Opportunities for discussion and challenge, even within Cabinet, were restricted.

13. Rituals such as ‘Clap for Carers’ were installed for the morale of the masses and the workers.

14. The public showed a surprising willingness to follow orders without question. The climate of fear continued.

15. Whatever it takes to keep up safe, they said.

16. Mass gatherings ceased, places of worship closed, households unable to mix, partners separated by law.

17. Narratives changed. Masks were an utter waste of time, until nudged that they increased fear and enabled control. Masks became life savers.

18. New Secretaries of State soon changed their values and beliefs once drawn into The Quad.

19. In some European lands, monthly punitive fines were introduced to ‘encourage’ and effectively mandate vaccination.

20. Shortages in PPE and essential medical supplies created opportunities. Many got very rich, quick. The public suffered from shortages in goods, and were banned from buying books in supermarkets.

21. ‘Trust in the Science’, ‘Follow the Science’, they said. Yet ‘the Science’ changed, flip-flopped, and advice given today was readily forgotten tomorrow.

22. Smart governmental lawyer types achieved handsome hourly rates during the pandemic.

23. Squabbles over access to state-owned country residencies, where important people could achieve peaceful clarity of thought.

24. Everyone must self-isolate after a positive test, unless part of a pilot scheme.

25. The ‘vaccines’ were unable to prevent catching SARS-CoV-2 or its transmission, and despite high uptake rates, a new enemy was declared: THE UNVACCINATED.

26. To many, the unvaccinated deserved continued support from the NHS, as smokers, alcoholics, the obese had always been able to depend upon.

27. An exhausted and demoralised public pushed on, ‘just one more booster!’

28. The PM and Cabinet Ministers, at times, kept a low profile; leaving it to those keener for the public spotlight.

29. The government began to renege on reassurances the vaccines were for adults only. Many mothers across the land were on alert as they started to come for their children. Others not so.

30. Pathology was questionable. Died with, not of, Covid. Comorbidities ignored. Died within 28 days of a positive test, whether shot in the head, or under the proverbial bus.

31. Strange narratives formed. Othering the unvaccinated or indeed children, as vectors of disease, became the norm. Despite the spread amongst the vaccinated, who were also prevalent in hospital ICU wards.

32. Within the medical community, there were dissenting voices uneasy with the strategy. Many kept quiet. Within the public, some concerned citizens became restless, though continued to put their trust in the government.

33. Curtain twitching created a dilemma for citizens wishing to exercise some personal judgment. Police raided people’s homes, alerted by a neighbourhood snitch.

34. Gongs were planned, despite the cancer and mental health crises, and cruelties enacted upon the country’s elderly and children. ‘Covid deaths’ seemingly the only KPI of concern.

35. Occurrences of police brutality were troubling, in the UK and across Europe.

36. The answers seemed to be more jabs. Boosters. Third, then fourth doses. One more fucking hit.

37. The public lost their bearings. Three weeks to flatten the curve. 15 million jabs to freedom. No vaccine passports. The press continued largely to toe the line.

38. The summer saw a drop in compliance as the public tired.

39. Mantras, slogans and nudges changed over time as the behavioural scientists sought new outcomes.

40. People shall not gather in indoor settings, unless it is a work meeting. Work from home, but do enjoy your work Christmas parties.

41. Data was dredged, statistics were manipulated, misinformation brazenly presented on mainstream television. There was much cherry-picking done (on both sides).

42. Televised tears, and their wetness, raised eyebrows.

43. Big Pharma began to set their sights upon a subscription business model, based on perpetual quarterly boosters.

44. The campaign against the unvaccinated was ramped up. Much public anger was stoked up against those wary of ‘vaccines’ with no long-term safety data.

45. Conflicts of interest were a concern amongst many. Just who was getting rich from the decisions they made in government?

46. Across the world, great swathes of citizens were angry, and regular protests were held, particularly directed at the introduction of passes and mandates.

47. Some were required to step out of the public eye due to events, keep a low profile, before joyfully returning once more.

48. Exhausted, promised 15 million jabs to freedom, the public now stared down the barrel at another round of jabs. Elsewhere, fourth doses were in the pipeline.

49. You’re fully vaccinated! No, you are no longer fully vaccinated. You’re fully vaccinated again!

50. Language was carefully controlled and manipulated, by the government, influenced by the nudge unit.

51. Children suffered greatly; often masked, with play and socialisation restricted, ‘schooled’ from home.

52. The poor suffered greatly, and experienced a very nasty pandemic; many of the elites enjoyed a rather profitable one.

53. A brighter future was imagined and outlined by the elites: The Fourth Industrial Revolution.

54. Breathing problems and worse were suffered by elite sportspeople. There seemed little urgency to find out why, whatever the cause.

55. It’s not about biometric data, digital IDs, microchipping, they said. It’s about the deadly virus, they said, whilst flagrantly ignoring their own protocols.

56. In years to come, when digital IDs are in place, perhaps Covid won’t be so concerning after all.

57. You will own nothing, and you will be happy.

58. Moreover, concerns existed over democracy and the fairness of future elections.

59. And Her Majesty’s Opposition only cried ‘more’, ‘harder’, ‘sooner’, ‘longer’.
