As a Knives lover i really really want to see Vash kiII him but like, not the way like in tristamp but ooc Vash where something breaks inside him and he flings all of his suppressed anger onto his brother. Or, you know when Vash awoke from that forced coma? +

I kinda hoped that he'd come out wrong. Like, a different person? He's still unresponsive and looks like a statue but his tendrils are going haywire, stabbing everything they come in contact to. In fact, he would've kiIIed all other plants if Nai didn't keep shielding them with+

his own body. You know? Maybe even Meryl gets hurt but she dodges just in time for the tendril to pierce her shoulder instead of her heart. She shouts in pain but unlike in tristamp her voice does nothing to rouse Vash from this maddening calamatic stupor+

Conrad somehow avoids getting injured, hiding behind the lost tech staring horrified at the state Knives has brought himself to for the sake of his brother and the other plants. He looks miserable, the holes in his body slowly healing back till they disappear as. If they were+

never there.

If only.

Instead, the holes don't close up soon enough that Vash impales his tendril in that exact spot again. Blood drips down Nai's chin, leaking from his nose and mouth, his eyes are wide and he's yelling at Vash to attempt to stop him.+

He even pulls out his own dagger endowed tentacles, both twins clashing against each other. He's successful in dodging and stopping some of them but Vash simply produces more and more and more till Knives can't keep up.

Now that his gate has been forcefully opened,+

the powers building up inside him have been unleashed to an overwhelming degree. It's out of control, it's too strong and it's unstoppable

Even for the almighty Millions Knives

Two angels, complete opposite of each other, fighting with all sense lost.+

The portal behind Vash has completely closed, sudden fluctuations alarm Conrad of the genuine danger of the situation but he has come too far to go back. He will support Knives till the end. He shouts at Meryl to leave that she'll be swept within this insanity+

But the reporter just shakes her head, clutching at her shoulder and trying to approach the broken tank, "VASH!" She's screaming her lungs out shooting repeatedly at the tendrils

Out of nowhere. The horrifying looking glittery stringy black tentacles stop.+

Knives wipes his mouth, the daggers forming a large sphere above him, "You are powerless, human." He says, taking ragged breaths as his body regenerates.

Vash's head snaps towards Meryl. The glasses are opaque, she doesn't know if he has regain consciousness or not+

His mouth isn't moving and he's still that steel gray colour with pale blue patterns all over his visible skin.

Unexpectedly,

All the tendrils turn to her direction. Above Vash they form a needle-like structure, ready to attack and slice her to pieces.+

'Oh.'

Meryl finally realises, that maybe humanity is done for real now. This hellish angel that the universe bestowed upon them and the one who would the last soul she sees before she ceases to exist.

Still, her reflexes work faster than her mind because the moment+

the entrancing weapon moves, she swings out of the way and it ends up piercing through the wall, and further and further till it destroys one section of the building they're in.

Meryl is still dazed, "Give up. I'll allow you the mercy of letting you leave like this+"

Knives laughs menacingly, "After all this is done, you already will be dead. I'd rather not waste energy on you insects."

She's speechless, eyes cast downwards, a wave of emotions overcoming her. Thankfully before she does something stupid like confront the independents anyways+

Wolfwood is appearing out of thin air and snatching her away, leaping through the hallways all the while dodging the twins' attacks.

With the extra lives out of sight Vash's attention comes back to Knives and some masochist streak inside of him is delighted at the intimidating+

gaze he's given

"Come dear brother. Let me show you your true nature. Embrace your true self!" He spreads his arms wide, grinning like a madman.

Vash wordlessly stabs him in every limb again. Ironically it reminds Knives about the BibIe and his smirks just widens+

The sphere above him surrounds Vash, momentarily subduing him. Vash doesn't even look fazed as he flicks them away, the sound not dissimilar to bullets on metal.

He flicks his fingers, like Knives does and he feels pride swell up his chest. "Yes my Vash, you're doing great+"

Before he can continue, the black tendril target his neck perfectly and he chokes on blood filling up his oesophagus.

The sounds he makes are miserable but his expressions say otherwise. "C-caalm.. d..ow.n.." he reaches up to twist the tentacle out of his throat+
