TONS of funding is available for #EOS EVM developers and projects.

In addition to @EOSnFoundation Direct Grants, there is millions in VC funding available.

ENV recently pledged $20M for $EOS EVM and GameFi projects, and is actively looking for builders.

One mistake $EOS made early is not having EVM compatibility, closing the door on thousands of Solidity developers.

With #EOS EVM, that door is now wide open.

There’s a huge opportunity for developers who are first-to-market on EOS EVM, and plenty of funding/support available!
We originally planned on 0.5s block times, but decided to go with 1s block times.

Why? To make building on #EOS EVM as easy as possible for solidity developers.

After many months of R&D, our engineers determined 1s block times offers optimal performance and compatibility.
When EOS EVM launches, you’ll be able to bridge your $EOS tokens so you can use them with wallets like Metamask or to pay gas fees.

If you have #EOS tokens on an exchange, you can send them directly to an EVM wallet, even if you don't have an EOS account.
The Mainnet Beta being released on April 14th will be v0.4 of #EOS EVM, and will continuously be upgraded.

This is a fact.

#EOS is the only blockchain that’s proven it can handle 100m+ transactions per day.

Technology is not a problem for EOS... But in the past, leadership was a HUGE problem.

.@VitalikBuertin identified the leadership issue on $EOS early, calling them “snakes”

Those snakes are @B1 🐍

Those snakes collected $4B from the ICO

But the #EOS community recently fired those snakes, and the @EOSnFoundation is pursuing legal recourse.

Think tanks are an underestimated business development weapon.

We spent over $1M to sponsor 6 different think tanks to enhance the user experience and to push #web3 into the forefront of innovation.

We funded these think-tanks, which we call “Working Groups”, to gather research and propose improvements to the $EOS network.

After identifying the key areas to focus on, we collaborated with the most qualified people.

The final deliverable was 6 academic research papers.
The 6 topics we focused on are:

2️⃣ Security
3️⃣ #EOS Core Biz Dev
4️⃣ API's
5️⃣ DeFi Risk Mitigation
6️⃣ $EOS Yield Opportunities to Maximize TVL

The @EOSNFoundation then offered financial incentives to community members who provided their feedback.
