📚The indifference is the deadweight of history. The indifference operates with great power on history. The indifference operates passively, but it operates. It is fate, that which cannot be counted on. It twists programs and ruins the best-conceived plans. 🧵
It is the raw material that ruins intelligence. That what happens, the evil that weighs upon all, happens because the human mass abdicates to their will;
allows laws to be promulgated that only the revolt could nullify, and leaves men that only a mutiny will be able to overthrow to achieve the power.
Quote from Antonio Gramsci, “I hate the indifferent”, from the magazine “La città futura” (1917).
Gramsci's words remind us that choosing indifference is not a neutral stance.
Indifference has the great power to impact events. We must actively work towards creating the world we want to live in and make decisions, even when uncomfortable.
Indifference and impunity allow #IsraeliApartheid regime to carry on with the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians
Antonio Gramsci was an Italian philosopher, journalist, linguist, writer, and politician. He was a founding member of the Italian Communist Party and a vocal critic of Mussolini’s fascism. He was imprisoned in 1926 where he remained until his death.

🧵Israel’s #impunity is fed by a series of allied countries around the world that resemble a friends with benefits relation!
Let’s start with India.
India’s growing partnership with Israel is based upon a convergence of both security interests and ethnonational ideological perspectives and supremacist views.
The public deepening of ties took place under the ruling party of Narendra Modi's BJP because, unlike the Congress Party, it did not have the same ideological commitment to the Palestinian cause and the Arab world, and not the same concerns about the Muslim electorate in India.
Israeli lobbies and related organizations internationally, have long used disinformation, lies and deceptive methods and narratives to cover crimes Israel commits against Palestinians.
These methods follow a recurring pattern that aims to perpetuate impunity, while normalizing the apartheid regime and winning over international public opinion.
Here are the 5 steps that can help you recognize Israel’s propaganda

Today, 29 August, on the 34th anniversary of #NajiAlAli’s death, we honor his life as a Palestinian caricaturist, artist and advocate.
Naji sought refuge in 1948 with his family in Ain Al Hilweh refugee camp in Lebanon. He published his caricatures in local & Arab publications.
Naji was known for his advocacy, siding with the poor and the toiling, his strong adherence to the Palestinian cause, and his criticism of regimes, states, parties and people who work against the oppressed and against the Palestinian cause.
On 22 July 1987, Naji Al Ali was shot under his right eye in London. The shot was targeted and meant to assassinate him. Naji lay in the hospital until he passed away on 29 August 987
Sadly, he was buried in London, despite his request to bury his body in the Ain Al Hilweh camp.
