26/ Let’s face it #CUSD until district leadership starts having to face the consequences of their uncaring, immature, irresponsible, and childish ineptitude, NOTHING is going to change.
27/ Every day that we continue to allow them to remain terrible, horrible people who are absolute shit at their jobs/roles is a day that our kids end up paying for.
It’s not enough that YOUR kid is *ok.*
A child failed anywhere is a collective failure of our entire community.
28/ While the testimony we heard on Wednesday was shocking and horrific, it honestly wasn’t that surprising. Does anyone actually still think there’s still some finite limit to the utter chaos and inappropriate horseshit that runs rampant around that place?
29/ Y’all remember the child who reported bullying & physical assaults of LGBTQ students to the board/district admin after school admin refused to act?
And how they completely ignored them?
And even tried to argue that it wasn’t an agenda item so they didn’t have to deal w/it?
30/ Yup. We were already at crisis level “a child reports abuse live on the internet and they try to find loopholes to justify not giving a shit or doing anything.”
And now… this.
What’s it gonna take, #CUSD? You think we’ve seen even the half of how bad it is there?
I don’t.
31/ Contact the board, in particular Pres. Olive, VP Mozdzen & (if someone can wake him up) Joel Wirth. Those 3 were in office when this was going down.
I’m never NOT gonna say don’t yell at Kurt, but maybe pick something else for that? There’s plenty of shit to choose from.
32/ Also contact Supt. Narducci. He’s been hired to be captain, but this is our goddamn ship. If he doesn’t want the responsibilities that come along w/those paychecks we give him, he can swim home & go find something better suited for his skill set. (Whatever the fuck that is.)
33/ Demand better. Don’t let them act like they need this explained to them. They don’t. It’s not hard.
And don’t let them off the hook if they say they’ll plan a study session, or start a committee, or meet w/ stakeholders, or host a forum, or any of that same tired bullshit.
34/ We’ve likely seen just a mere sliver of all that they pull when they think no one is watching.
Demand meaningful action. Demand it now.
Demand accountability.
Demand it now.
Demand consequences.
Demand them now.
It’s time they grow the fuck up, no? I certainly think so.
2/ TRIGGER WARNING FOR ENTIRE THREAD: emotional and detailed reports of SA, CSA, acts of grooming, sexual harassment, etc.
Please make sure you are in a safe, comfortable space with support available if needed before viewing.
3/ A father spoke first: “For over 2 years I’ve been demanding justice and accountability… In February of 2021, five girls came forward and told… an assistant principal that their teacher for months had been repeatedly touching them in an unwelcome manner.”
Hey @ChandlerUnified it’s so great that MαgαHυΙk was just invited to come speak at Perry HS. What could’ve gone wrong?
Definitely nothing requiring cops that board member #KurtRohrs let slip, after your official statement that “at no time” was there any danger, right? 🤔 twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
And definitely nothing that could’ve been exacerbated by an attention-seeking, known shit-starter’s perfectly reasonable idea to invite the entire internet into a school, right?
And despite it NOT being for club members only, as you also tried to claim, except here’s a grown man proudly posing for pictures with MαgαHυΙk like his mom took him to see the real Santa, posted to the club’s official social media…?
1/ Alright #CUSD time to address another noteworthy moment from last night’s board meeting.
Someone showed up to speak on “parent concern.”
But was that really why she was there?
Yeah. We’ll cover that…
2/ After a lengthy (and familiar-sounding) intro Kelsey shared that she was there “representing a LOT of other parents” (LOL!) concerned about…
*screeching record sound*
… CSE. 🙄
3/ Uhm, what?
No one:
Not a single person:
The agenda:
Kelsey: BUT CSE SCARES ME!!!!!!!!
Ok so Kelsey was clearly there with some bullshit. Let’s see what she really showed up for, because CSE was literally nothing being dealt with or addressed in any way, shape or form.
1/ Attn #CUSD! We have a LOT to unpack from last night’s board mtg.
I wanna get into something ASAP that I feel warrants immediate attn.
First I want to be very clear & public about how impressed I was w/Barb (acting as president) & @FrankNarducci’s handling of MANY instances…
2/… of inappropriate bullshit from Kurt + a speaker (Kurt’s friend) who came in to attack @Serrano4CUSD. Maybe Kurt was desperate for a distraction? To bring some heat down on someone else? Who knows.
Barb & Frank shut it all down. They 100% deserve to be recognized for that.
3/ The concern I feel warrants immediate attention is in regards to safety - an issue there really should be no disagreements over ever. Schools must keep students safe and as adults we must do everything we can to set up the conditions necessary for schools to be safe spaces.
