#DMKFiles analysis:

1. I know for a fact that @annamalai_k has only updated his dossier on TN corruption which he has been building since 2018.

2. What is out in public is just the tip of the iceberg.

3. He has a clear game plan, but we will know the rules only as we play on.

4. Every reaction to #DMKFiles has been expected and counter actions already mapped - we will see this unfolding in the coming days.

5. He has shown absolute courage by straight-hitting Stalin so that there is no doubt about his intentions, also shows how he positions himself.

6. By adding "this is Modi's direction", he has sent a message to old world politicians including those in BJP that his path is what BJP will walk, not the other way round.

Annamalai wanted to do the Nadai Payanam soon after Assembly elections. He had that plan for some time.

6. Something I completely applaud is Annamalai revealing his personal accounts and facts.

This achieves the following:

~ He has declared himself clean, and has challenged his opponents to come clean - this is saying "I am OK, you are not OK".

This confidence sets the tone of

what people will eventually take as future 'norm' of politics.

Meaning, you can't call out others unless you are clean.

This is new as both Ks did this in the election year creating the swing to alternate between them. This is reason why people say 'corruption charges won't

work with TN people'. This is because no one was clean to follow through and bring a change.

The election year spars always hid a conjoined twin beneath.

~ With declaring personal account, he has invited DMK leadership to play outside of their comfort zone, to his own turf.

~ Being transparent will help him preempt counter-charges by DMK which has the power to trap him in myriad ways.

~ This will build Brand Annamalai - Brand Clean politics, Brand Non-Dravidian politics for TN.

Remember, this was the foundation for Modi politics as BJP had

corruption issues not only in Gujarat, but also other states.

Annamalai is taking Modi's politics a notch higher.

7. He has promised to spare no one, making this entire action unquestionably credible.

This is necessary for building "system change" campaign that transcends

usual TN politics.

8. I wrote a few weeks ago that the reason Annamalai talked about AIADMK alliance was to create a package to offer to TN people through his Nadai Payanam.

8. The core of Nadai Payanam is this system change.

It will offer a steady crusade which the fickle,

dishonest, and confused Seeman could not offer. In fact, this will negate NTK, and the possibility of any third front.

9. Reaction to #DMKFiles and the impact as I see it:

a. No surprise, MSM giving a cold shoulder and blackout
b. SM journos sticking to their script:

~ Why no action from those in power at the centre?
~ Assets ≠ corruption
~ These assets were acquired long ago
~ TN is hopeless, this is not going to make any impact
~ Some MSM raising uncomfortable questions to R S Bharathi and Senthil Balaji

10. I see the impact differently:

~ This is what I call an outcome model which starts with a SPLASH event and ends creating a WAVE.

The direct impact of SPLASH: even though MSM blacked this out, DMK and AIADMK were forced to come out and defend, which is great achievement.

~ Coming months, @annamalai_k and team including the senior leaders will deepen and broaden the narrative - I call this RIPPLES.

This will be the heart and soul of Annamalai's #Nadaipayanam #EnMannEnMakkal

Every mention of #DMKFiles is a ripple. This will also involve actions

of enforcement and investigative agencies.

~ Corruption alone won't cut the ice with TN people, so the Payanam will focus on unpacking Brand Modi in a big way.

With EPS, it was difficult to claim the due credit, but now BJP will freely own the beneficiaries of various schemes.

~The RIPPLES will go on, and intensify closer to 2026 and it will reach every household - we need to change the system, and this is what I call a WAVE.

11. As many think, this is not aimed at 2024 alone, the clear focus is 2026.
