Introducing the McCormick family organised crime group which operates Escort Ireland, a website whose sole purpose is to encourage the breach of Part 4 of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences) Act 2017, which outlawed the purchase of sex. Who’s who and how much?
First up, we have Peter McCormick, born 1959, the ex-RUC reservist from N Ireland who has at least one conviction for pimping in 2003
His son is Mark McCormick, born 1983, who has at least one conviction for pimping in 2010
Audrey Rita Campbell, born 1973 and described in Main Media as “the partner” of Peter McCormick. Social media has described her background in more explicit terms. She was the original website registrant & business name registrant of Uglymugs in Ireland
Lee Graham Campbell, born 1993, the son of Audrey Rita Campbell, and the main contact on company documents for the Spain-based company described below.
Escort Ireland, the website was originally operated by London-based E Designers Limited, but they relocated to Spain and a company Lazarus Trading Sociedad Limitada. That has been renamed Periodic Table Sociedad Limitada. Below are its latest outline results for 2021
Sales are shown as €5.573m but it’s unclear what that is, exactly, without knowing the specific accounting policy used [eg it may be the *net* income from running a particular website]. Profit or Earnings Before Interest Tax Depreciation Amortization was €2.806m.
We don’t know how much of the €5.6m “sales” is paid out in salaries etc to the McCormicks and their associates before getting down to profit or EBITDA.
In Ireland, the website reportedly charges prostitutes or their “handlers” €160 a week and up, and it appears to advertise ~1000 prostitutes, suggesting it has sales in the €10m ballpark.
So, it’s a significant operation involving people with pimping convictions, and as far as Irish – N Ireland and the Republic – law is concerned, its sole purpose is to encourage the breach of our laws.
As a footnote, the McCormicks have been busy, trying to get Google to wipe search results about their past in Europe under the “right to be forgotten”. Contrast the search results below left, for a search conducted from the USA, and right, from the "right to be forgotten" EU!

His older brother Simon was appointed to the Cabinet in May 2016 as Minister for Health. The State started to fund the charity, whose income has trebled from €0.9m to a staggering €2.4m in four years, with Adam now on €80-90k plus expenses as its CEO.
In 2020, aged just 25, Adam Harris was appointed a Commissioner at the €7m state-funded Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission.
LISTING OF SOLICITORS WHO HAVE REPRESENTED CLIENTS SUING THE INTERNATIONAL PROTECTION APPEALS TRIBUNAL
THREAD 🧵
Following the removal of records, possibly 100+, by the Courts Service this week you can no longer see records of case where the respondent is the International Protection Appeals Tribunal. Fortunately, we have a copy of the cases!
Listed below are the 29 (!) solicitors which have been on record, acting on behalf of applicants suing IPAT. They’re in alphabetical order (and no particular order of size, relevance and especially merit).
Haven't had such a request in years (last time was a Tweet about Soldier F who was named in the Commons and Dail, but which Twitter didn't want named).
Unclear who made the removal request.
The Tweet did include images of Leonie O'Dowd (bio, from her role at Dublin Rape Crisis Centre), bio and image of practising solicitor Jude Copeland at an SDLP event and Claire Flynn in a Youtube talk, and an image of their signatories to a letter in Irish Times below.
On this day in 2024, a Saturday, we witnessed, thanks to social media, the most shameful undermining of journalism in this State.
A short thread about 'investigative journalist' Paul Connolly (47)...
#BlackoutDay
Around 3pm on that Saturday in Coolock, a disguised (hoodie, cap) Paul Connolly turned up with "other crew" and set up a counter protest to the long-established 'Coolock says No' protest against an asylum centre at the old Crown Paints site.
There was a scuffle between Paul Connolly (right below in the hoodie) and the protesters, at which point Paul Connolly phone, a black Apple iPhone 14, came into the possession of protesters.
Yesterday, the Journal produced a laudable and tragic chronicle of the 37 women killed in Ireland in the past five years.
However, exeption must be taken with their entry for Geila Ibram.
The Journal attempts to paint a picture of the life of Geila Ibram, but it does so through the claims of her pimp who claims he (as fiancé) "discovered her body"
How else could The Journal have painted their picture?
Journal might have quoted Derrick Amrein, a Limerick businessman of impeccable repute who operated a bike shop at ground level adjacent to the building where Geila Ibram died.
Probably the second biggest gobshite in the Gardai, Chief Supt Aidan Minnock of the Garda immigration unit, gets top coverage today across our news-hungry mid-holidays Main Media. This is Aidan.
Aidan again assures us that thre's no such thing as an 'unvetted migrant' in Ireland and that's "far right" hokum. Let's review the vetting, shall we?
This is, almost definitely a man, apparently an Afghan, apparently named 'Alinna Shafaie'. But official records in Ireland tell us he is .... 26 years of age. Yep, an official at Helen McEntee's dept of justice recorded Alinna (girl's name) as such. That's vetting for you.
