As @noeltowell predicts, there will be lots of Greens doing a transphobia if the amendment is passed. Saying trans rights conflict with women's? That's a transphobia! Want restrictions on child transition? Transphobic bigot! Asking questions?!? You're doing a genocide.

In 2020, I was suspended from the Greens for vilification of transgender people and bringing the party into disrepute (like how John Setka brought the CFMEU into disrepute; I seriously affected the public opinion of the Greens, even though basically no one has ever heard of me..)

If that was enough to get me suspended in 2020, what will happen now, with the new amendments to the Greens code of conduct? What will happen to a political party which bans "leading questions"? Watch as the Greens atrophy, shrouded in the sexist baby blue and pink flag.

This is the proposal (page 1) which was sent to State Council to define transphobia and the proposal which was actually passed. It defines all the conduct in (a)-(i) as conduct which harms or creates serious risk of harm to trans people. Like misgendering. Very harmful.

Actually, yes, sex is simple: there are two sexes. That's it.

Conversion practices are abusive indeed. Converting young gay kids or boring kids who are embarrassed for being yt oppressors and so need to queer up into trans or gender-diverse is abusive. Don't transition kids. They can't consent to it.

Giving puberty blockers to children should be outlawed. Greens members should be able to refer to the best evidence in the world, systematic studies from the UK, Sweden, Finland, to challenge the Greens policy. This code of conduct stops policy change. This is a party in failure.

oh dear goddess: no leading questions. The Greens are a political party who have just outlawed "leading questions." So if I were engaging in a contest of ideas in the Greens, I could no longer put forward a proposition which would challenge the listener to share my conclusion?

Here are some helpful links to the intellectual poverty of the Greens and in opposition to doing a transphobia. Look at the branch meetings listed below and how many people actually attended in order to endorse putting proposal to State Council.

It was then passed by a State Council made up of 15 people. And that's the State of the Greens for ya.
