Little Chance is having a bit of a harder day today.

I had to force her to do a bunch of stuff for her own good which took its toll.

I keep telling her things are already getting better… (1/7) 🧵 Image
She owns her little safe corner.

You can see even a little accidental tap of the water bowl scares her.

She doesn’t want to bite but the snarl and teeth are a warning (2/7)
Having her wounds cleaned is very stressful for her.

The vet is very pleased with how clean they are getting. She is hopeful it could be clean enough to stitch it up by maybe Thursday (3/7) Image

We’ve been trying to catch this girl for a week. She is a street dog who we feed but who is terrified of humans.

She was hit by a car. I called her Chance because she is hoping for a second one in life. (1/8)
She tries to bite when anybody gets close out of fear.

Her stomach was thumped by the car and ripped open and has now been infected. She would have died in the coming days if she didn’t get help (2/8) Image

Out of all the dogs we’ve helped I think McMuffin is the biggest comeback ever.

I still don’t know how she made it.

This was her the first day I found her…

🩸 30 cancerous tumors on her

🐜 1000 blood sucking ticks

Her results were so bad the vets gave her a 1% chance. She had been dumped on the streets no longer wanted as a pet (2/10)
I don’t mind saying I came incredibly close to putting her down that first night. The news was too bad. The pain too much.

But she got her red and yellow bandages and her name McMuffin as a result (3/10) Image

I don’t think its possible for a dogs life to have changed more than it has for Bianca.

3 weeks ago she was chained up and living in misery.

Larry is the strangest rescue we’ve ever had.

He is a sandwich short of a picnic. He is also an absolute gentleman.
