First, to understand who gets in interracial relationships let's look at various facts about them

01 The percentage of Interracial marraiges hovers around 10% for White men and women

Most Interracial Unions Lean Democrat Except for Native Americans

Republican women are more likely to describe themselves as "color blind" than Liberal women. Young whit people are no more likely to marry interracially than older people

Black Conservatives are more likely than Black Liberals to desire interracial relations

Native Americans are the most likely to intermarry, Whites the least

One of the first things studies on interracial marriage have pointed out, is that not all interracial relationships have equal outcomes. Men generally benefit from them more than women.

Black-White marriages have worse health outcomes and more verbal or physical violence on average than even Black same-race marriages

Hispanic-White marriages are also associated with poorer health and marital distress for White women, but not as much as Black-White marriages

The self-reported health of interracial marriages has been studied over many years, with various theories as to why some are worse than others

Hypergamy explains why men benefit from interracial relationships more than women. Each of these pairings make different trade offs. Some for wealth, others for youth and health.

Hyperamy and social exchange theory can also explain why White women in interracial relationships tend to be poor and overweight

Despite media representation, most people are aware of the unequal status exchange in interracial marriages

Social exchange theory breaks down when you factor in race. For most White women, race is a more important factor than money or education level

Race is consistently the most important factor, over education, wealth, or even culture and religion

White women who remarry after an interracial marriage tend to remarry within their own race

One last point on these studies of interracial marriage. None of these studies are conducted by right wing people, and many lament their findings when their theories are proven wrong

Now for cohabitation. White people more likely to cohabitate before marriage than other races, the % of whites who cohabitate with other races is basically the same as those who marry other races, Asians are the most likely to cohabitate with another race

Now let's look at total births. According to the CDC, of all births, regardless of marital status:

Let's look at online dating statistics. These have been known for a while now. One obvservation made again and again, is that white women are the most racially selective of any group of women

When you compare quick match scores with Let's Meet scores, the gap becomes even wider. And the differences in quick match scores have increased over time

When you look at stated vs revealed preference, it was found that most Whites have learned to be covert about their racial biases, lest they be seen as racist by the opposite sex

People prefer their own race, but signal that they don't, vocal racial bias is seen as low status

Brain scans and implicit bias tests show that despite vocal support for interracial marriages being at an all time high, a difference between peoples' stated vs revealed preferences emerges

A note on these studies. None of these studies are from right wing researchers. There are barely any right wing social scientists. Very often the authors of these studies lament the results, but most have accepted the existence of a racial hierarchy in mate selection.
