Seems like you really liked Vipers in standard CzAF pattern, now lets look at some unusual camo patterns used by Czech Air Force. Both fixed wing and rotary wing. 1/x
Lets start with Gripens. This one (1st and 2nd pic) got this paint scheme back in 2018, as part of celebration of 100 years of CzAF. Second one is using "NATO tiger" camo scheme to present 211st tactical squadron as part of NATO Tiger Association. 2/X
L-159 ALCA. This is really interesting one. Let me present to you L-159 ALCA "Spitfire". I believe mainly Brits (@thinkdefence@nicholadrummond ) will appreciate that. It got this paint as a memorial of Czech pilots in service of RAF during WW2. 3/x
We continue with ALCA. One model got this Digital camo pattern as a appreciation of 20 years of L-159A in service of CzAF. 4/x
Next is Mi-24/35 helicopter of 221st helicopter sqn. Here you have "ALIEN TIGER" that won the best camo pattern competition during NATO Tiger Meet 2016. (but it isnt the only Hind that got some repaint - last pic) 5/x
Lets end this with Mi-171 of 222nd helicopter sqn. This paint job is documenting three camo patterns used by CzAF, from tail (oldest) to front (currently used) 6/x

Drone warfare during exercise Joint Viking 2025. 🇳🇴 Forsvaret shows the way. This is a much needed approach.
UAS are reality, both advantage and threat. Same as with mines or anti-tank weaponry, we need to adapt&integrate both technical AND tactical solutions to..

...utilize this technology and new layer (not replacement!) of ground, aerial and maritime warfare, as effectively as possible for our gains, and at the same time, minimize the threats and effects that enemy unmanned systems will have on our own forces.
⬇️2/8
Because ground (and other operational domains) warfare with "traditional" means, such as IFV's, artillery, etc. is not going anywhere, drones are just another layer, in some cases new, in some cases they are low-cost alternatives and in some cases they are force multiplier
Should Czech Forces look for such or similar vehicle or.... do we already have it?

First. Let´s look how and why Lvkv90 came to life.
While Strf9040A´s had UTAAS, they lacked several aspects that would make them truly effective against aerial targets. And Swedes wanted mobile SPAAG´s to protect their maneuver formations.
⬇️2/x
Solution? Basically take Strf9040, enlarge its turret to fit in PS-95 radar and more advanced electronics (including IFF) change the mounting of L/70 40mm Bofors to increase elevation to 55° and make use of programmable munition available
It was on 24th February 2022 when I stayed awake and in the late night/early morning I saw first videos of Russian invasion into a sovereign state.... Russia attacked its neighbour. After Russians have been telling for months, that they won't and its just...

"scare tactics" and "war mongering" of the West... Well. Russians lied in 2014, in 2022 and they will continue to do so. Treaties are just a piece of paper.
Europe has changed that day. Sadly. We had 3 years. Yet changes, are only coming slowly...

We still don't treat this seriously enough at many levels and in many states yet the threat is very real
Aggressor isn't intimidated by promises, grandiose speeches or empty words. He is intimidated by actions, determination and real industrial and military capabilities
PBV-Pz (recce will be equipped with Czech MIZAR electroptical and battlefield radar reconaissance complet.

Now POV (APC) variants. It seems based on this that only Forward Artillery Observer is APS equipped. DP, Ž and V variants are then equiped with Czech-Slovak Gladius 12 RCWS with 12,7mm MG.
As this year comes to an end slowly. Lets look at what will happen in the next one.
