Apparently, organic chemistry and marine science are too “woke” for DeSantis’s hand-picked trustees at the New College of Florida. apnews.com/article/new-co…
Here’s Prof. Black’s online bio.
Nothing screams CRT @realchrisrufo-fearing wokeness like “polymerization catalysis” and “transition metal catalysts for acceptorless dehydrogenation.”
Lingering questions from the Fox $787 million payout to Dominion:
1. Dominion’s attorney talked about the “hell” that the firm’s employees went through. How much of this fortune will those people get?
2. What were the negotiations like, particularly between Monday pm when sources were pooh-pooling a settlement and Tuesday afternoon when it was announced? Did Fox sweeten the offer? Did Dominion figure they’d won? Or was it all just a ruse while the details were hammered out?
3. Did Fox agree to pay a larger settlement in return for issuing such a half-assed apology?
On CNN today, GOP Rep. @DanCrenshawTX says "if we had a minimum of 2 armed guards or police officers in every school in America, you'd probably prevent these" shootings. ... You're not going to get rid of guns."
There are more than 125,000 schools in the US.
This is my old high school in Denver.
It is a huge school.
It is still in use today.
And Crenshaw thinks that a couple of guards could prevent a shooting by someone armed with a semi-automatic rifle?
DeSantis’s crew has been so busy whining about the press, it didn’t see the Orlando Sentinel’s public notices that would’ve alerted them to Disney’s “King Charles III” ploy.
A law prof calls it “negligence on the part of the governor’s office” wsj.com/articles/disne…
You have to figure, these Disney lawyers couldn’t believe their luck
Passengers and Crew!
Make way for @jbenton who brings us the public notices that DeSantis and his team missed.
This, citing Maria Bartiromo's Nov. 8 interview of Sidney Powell, is not what Fox's lawyers were hoping the judge would find.
Not at all.
Same for this Nov. 12 interview by Lou Dobbs of Rudy Giuliuani
"Bartiromo accepts the explanations offered by Powell and Giuliani as facts by making affirmative follow-up statements like 'Right.' or 'Wow. This is explosive.' A reasonable viewer could understand these hypothetical questions as validations of actual events"
