Given her performance under oath, Ivanka Trump, 42, is clearly too senile to serve as president

The judge re Ivanka: "The Court found her inconsistent recall, depending on whether she was questioned by OAG or the defense, suspect. What Ms. Trump cannot recall is memorialized in emails and documents; in the absence of her memory, the documents speak for themselves"

A lot of attention re Florida's curriculum has focused on slavery.

Meanwhile, the references in the "American History Strand" relating to the dispossession & extermination of Native Americans get such benign passages as "Explain how westward expansion affected Native Americans"

Remember the kickass, print-only Oklahoma newspaper that recently revealed local officials making threatening and racist remarks?

It now has a website! mccurtaingazettenews.com 1/ The newspaper caught officials on tape, wondering about hiring a hitman to murder local journalists.

So now the editor responds: “If people who hate us kill me, the sad truth is they will likely accomplish much of what they want.” 2/ mccurtaingazettenews.com/call-the-edito…

Lingering questions from the Fox $787 million payout to Dominion:

1. Dominion’s attorney talked about the “hell” that the firm’s employees went through. How much of this fortune will those people get? Image 2. What were the negotiations like, particularly between Monday pm when sources were pooh-pooling a settlement and Tuesday afternoon when it was announced? Did Fox sweeten the offer? Did Dominion figure they’d won? Or was it all just a ruse while the details were hammered out?

On CNN today, GOP Rep. @DanCrenshawTX says "if we had a minimum of 2 armed guards or police officers in every school in America, you'd probably prevent these" shootings. ... You're not going to get rid of guns."

There are more than 125,000 schools in the US. This is my old high school in Denver.
It is a huge school.
It is still in use today.
And Crenshaw thinks that a couple of guards could prevent a shooting by someone armed with a semi-automatic rifle?

The filings from Dominion vs Fox are stunning.
But more is in the works.
And it's not just Dominion suing, or Fox being sued.

🧵/1

In the Dominion suit, many names we haven't yet seen in stories appear on the docket as having been subpoenaed* &/or deposed. That list includes: Smartmatic is also suing Fox, but in NY court. (Dominion's is in Delaware).

Among those subpoenaed*, via the docket: Michael Flynn, Bernard Kerik and a "William Barr."

*(Just because someone is subpoenaed doesn't mean they'll ultimately be deposed or ordered to testify.)

“Maybe Sean and Laura went too far,” Murdoch wrote to Suzanne Scott, showing once again that it's the anchors, not the nominal bosses, who really run Fox News.

washingtonpost.com/media/2023/03/… The anchors run the company:

“Fox Corp. attorney Viet Dinh raised concerns about how Hannity was describing the results: ‘Let’s continue to buckle up for the ride for next 24 hours. Hannity is getting awfully close to the line with his commentary and guests tonight.’”
