Heartbreaking news coming in from Karjat, #Ahmednagar, #Maharashtra where a 17-year-old girl was raped by Ajju Sheikh and Raju Sheikh, when she was alone at her home. The accused entered her home asking for water and then brutally assaulted her. Image
The victim confirmed that she knew the accused and agreed to offer them water. But then they took advantage of the situation and raped her. This heinous crime has shocked the entire community and left everyone in utter disbelief.
The accused have been booked under various sections of the IPC and POCSO, but they are still absconding. It is a matter of great concern that the police have not made any arrests yet.
The girl, who is the sole breadwinner of her family, has resumed her daily wage job. She says that she will die of hunger if she doesn't work. It is heart-wrenching to see her struggle to make ends meet despite being a victim of such a terrible crime
