Khalistanis Converted Golden Temple Into A Killing Ground in 1984 they drilled holes in the wall from where only the barrel of their weapon was visible to anyone climbing the stairs

In the complex, LMGs were effectively sited at ground level to neutralise the would be attackers

After the Operation Army Discovered Khalistani Arms Manufacturing Unit Where They is to Prepare Deadly Hand Grenades, LMG Breechblock Other Arms & Ammunitions

Khalistanis Had Transmitting Station & Equipment with Them at Golden Temple Later Army Discovered Huge Arms & Ammunitions, SLR, MMG (Medium Machine Gun) Bullet Belts from back side well of Akal Takht

All These were Left out Just Imagine The Amount of Arms used During Operation

On May 11, 1984, Bhindranwale Rejected the final settlement offered by Mrs Gandhi's think tank led by Narasimha Rao to the Akali Dal

Soon after, Army chief Gen Arun Kumar Vaidya became a frequent visitor to Indira Gandhi's office & She Gave Green Signal for Operation Blue Star.

The 3 Battalions that Lt-Gen Brar's 9th Infantry Division also sent to the Golden Temple for Operation

Initially Army had plan to capture the Akal Takht by blowing off its rear wall. But It was Rejected, Army got Clear Instructions that

Army Suffered Many casualties on 1st Attempt on 5th May 1984 it's said About 80-90 soldiers were martyred and about 200 wounded.

Next day on 6th May Morning, the local Division was requested to send an APC(Armoured Personnel Carrier) to go in from another side.

As APC entered the Parikrama it was hit Within a Minute by 84 mm Carl Gustav Rocket Launcher Fire & Incapacitated by Khalistanis Militants.

Final Assault :

On 6th June 7.30 Am 3 Vickers-Vijayanta Tanks were deployed

They fired 30 to 40 105 mm shells & Knocked Down the walls of the Akal Takht.

Commandos & Infantrymen then moved in to mop up the defenders, tossing gas & lobbing grenades insid building.

Army lost About 100 soldiers & 250 were wounded/ maimed for life.

About 500 terrorists killed. & Around 100 pilgrims lost their lives in crossfire

About 2000 persons were found inside after the

operation

Huge Amout of Arms & Ammunitions, Gold & Currency were Recoverd by Army

(b) Bangladeshi women: 434 (434) being smuggled to Pak from Bangla Desh

(c) Top leadership of the political party...(HS Longowal, GS Tohra, Bibi Amarjit Kaur)

Beginning of Operation Woodrose:

As news of the Army action spread, a fresh wave of killings of minority community people started across villages of Punjab Thousands picked up weapons and marched towards Amritsar

These were stopped at outskirts by Army.

The Propaganda After Operation By Khalistani's Foregin Media

Even Though Foregin Media & Khalistani's Accuse Indian Army Stormed The Golden Temple But Truth was Something Different

As Per Lt-Gen Kuldip Singh Brar on 5th May 1984 Around 4 PM Indian Army Has Sent Appeal to Terrorists To Surrender & Laydown the Arms But it has Been Rejected

During The Operation there was an incident of Pakistani infiltration into Golden Temple with Dressings Like Nihangs

So called Saint had Recived Pakistani Assistance along with Arms & Ammunitions as Lt-Gen Kuldip Singh Brar Confirms
