Community Notes (@CommunityNotes) is arguably the best feature Twitter has ever produced.

A short thread 🧵 Image
For years the mainstream press could knowingly write bogus articles that would rack up tens of millions of views, with the goal of pushing a false narrative out to the world.
They knew that once the article hit the zeitgeist, the narrative would be set in stone. The damage was done. They could then quietly stealth edit the article or post a small retraction knowing full & well that the mission had been accomplished and no one would see the correction.
This tactic was used to great affect for years and led to some of the now infamous hoaxes (Russiagate, Russian Bounties, pee tape, & many more)
With @CommunityNotes this is now no longer possible. Liars such as @GlennKesslerWP & @mehdirhasan have recently tried their usual tactics only to get noted and then ratio’d into oblivion. ImageImage
The truth is once again able to thrive on this platform. For those who care about the truth and willing to work for it, I would highly recommend contributing to community notes in whatever way you can.

It is a vital tool to maintain a healthy and honest digital town square.
Another example of @CommunityNotes ftw Image

Some "harsh truths" for Vivek and the former liberals out there who still believe "Colorblind meritocracy" can work in modern-day America.

🧵A quick thread on the real genesis of wokeness and confronting the outdated beliefs of Classical Liberals
"Colorblind meritocracy" sounds great in theory and has worked for brief periods of American history. I think most of us were probably raised during one of these time periods so I understand the impulse to want to believe in the ideals of your childhood. But there are very specific reasons why it worked then and doesn't now that I will get into.
But first let's clarify one of these "harsh truths" as Vivek likes to say. Color-blind meritocracy is a very new idea that was solely practiced by Western White people of the 20th century. Non-whites have never adopted it and show no signs that they ever will. Their ingroup preference is only increasing. The data on this is very clear.

Getting a lot of DMs from Microsoft employees informing me they’ve been doing mass layoffs of Americans and then replacing the roles by contracting Cognizant who then outsources the work to India.

Basically doing an end around through these fraudulent H-1B companies to avoid Trump’s tariff plan.

I’m not super familiar with Trump’s tariff plan but it absolutely needs to put a steep cost on companies who shut down teams in America and then contract the work out overseas. The scale of this is actually more than the H-1B fraud.
Intel too, wouldn't be surprised if this is the model for every single big tech company. They enjoy special benefits from the US Government and then use that advantage to screw over the American worker. Creates a non-competitive environment. These are evil anti-american organizations and they need to be investigated.
Not sure how much of a brag this is when most if not all of these companies are engaged in anti-american practices that massively screw over the American worker. Image

I’ve been scrolling through approved H-1B visas all morning and it’s far worse than I thought. I’m talking janitors, line cooks, secretaries, and every entry level position you can think of.

The worst culprit by far is Cognizant who got almost 7,000 H-1B visas approved in 2024 alone. These people need to be investigated for defrauding the American people.Image

Justin Trudeau did this exact policy in Canada.

9 years later the country is unrecognizable. All through LEGAL immigration.

Look at how the language is the exact same. Removing country caps to bring in “highly skilled immigrants” is always code for importing the third world. Image
Illegal immigration in the US has been terrible and they all need to go back but it pales in comparison to what will happen if country caps are removed. Removing country caps from places like India and China is civilizational suicide. This cannot happen.
I don’t believe @DavidSacks wants to import the third world. I just think he’s naive to how these programs work and how easy it is for them to be abused. Corporations are incentivized to bring in low-skilled immigrants and pay them less while calling them “high skill”. It’s also very easy for bad actors to mass import people from their country of origin. Indians are very good at this particular type of immigration fraud.

Checked in with the same friend to ask if today’s “October surprise” is what he was referring to. He confirmed. Basically the Kamala camp has been frantically putting the word out to anyone to come forward with any allegations about Trump and then shopping it to the news media. He said the allegations are sensationalized and manufactured by the Kamala camp. All the major media companies have looked into each one and decided to pass. So the Kamala campaign are putting them out themselves. Incredibly stupid and desperate.
He also mentioned that the Kamala campaign’s strategy is a sort of “allegation blitz” of many weak and made up allegations all at once to try prevent people from looking into the details of each one
Also said the UK Labour party is involved. Foreign election interference? Specifically mentioned their allies at the Guardian.

They will use the Charlottesville playbook in Springfield. Give it a few days and the town will be flooded with feds larping as Nazis, there will be marches, violence, and then they will say that Trump incited it.
This is not an issue they can afford to lose. Their whole election strategy is dependent on illegals voting.
This also means we're winning but do not fall for the psyop. They want to pick off the weak by smearing the people talking about Springfield. They want to turn it into a 3rd rail issue.
