Community Notes (@CommunityNotes) is arguably the best feature Twitter has ever produced.
A short thread 🧵
For years the mainstream press could knowingly write bogus articles that would rack up tens of millions of views, with the goal of pushing a false narrative out to the world.
They knew that once the article hit the zeitgeist, the narrative would be set in stone. The damage was done. They could then quietly stealth edit the article or post a small retraction knowing full & well that the mission had been accomplished and no one would see the correction.
This tactic was used to great affect for years and led to some of the now infamous hoaxes (Russiagate, Russian Bounties, pee tape, & many more)
With @CommunityNotes this is now no longer possible. Liars such as @GlennKesslerWP & @mehdirhasan have recently tried their usual tactics only to get noted and then ratio’d into oblivion.
The truth is once again able to thrive on this platform. For those who care about the truth and willing to work for it, I would highly recommend contributing to community notes in whatever way you can.
It is a vital tool to maintain a healthy and honest digital town square.
While everyone was focused on Charlie Kirk’s assassination this Democrat judge in North Carolina ordered Iryna Zarutka’s murderer Decarlos Brown to be released from prison.
They are trying to make sure he doesn’t even go to trial and is set free.
Looks like this story is from @JD_Cashless give him a follow

I've heard from 4 independent sources that @RyanAFournier is the person who set up the india campaign.
According to sources he approaches conservative influencers to join his paid propaganda group citing "access to some of the top MAGA influencers on X like DC Draino, Gunther Eagleman, Juanita Broadrick, etc"
Then he approaches interest groups claiming to “have done projects for CFG, AFP and other DC groups.”
@RyanAFournier You'll remember that this is the same Ryan Fournier who did a crypto rug pull about a year ago, claiming he didn't know crypto and had rugged the coin accidentally.
@RyanAFournier Fournier and his group of paid propagandists are not registered as foreign agents under FARA. This paid pro-india campaign is a direct violation of FARA which if found guilty can come with a $250,000 fine and imprisonment for up to five years.
The India lobby has started paying "Conservative" influencers to spread propaganda about how "India loves Trump and is a good ally."
These people will sell out their country for a couple grand. Confirmed from a source who received a similar offer.
If these accounts are even run by an American, which I highly doubt.
If you received an offer like this or even participated in one of these paid propaganda campaigns before and developed a conscience I would like to chat, dm me
> Come into our country via H1B etc
> Discriminate in favor of your co-ethnics
> Jobs that would have gone to Americans now go to foreigners
> Money that would have been earned by an American and would have stayed in our economy is now sent to India to prop up their economy
This is no different than foreign aid
