CONTENT WARNING (Graphic Video)

I apologize for taking a break from my normal content, but this incident needs exposure.

I've played hockey my whole life, I've NEVER seen anything even remotely close to this sick and gruesome.

The attacker Matt Petgrave (player in red, pictured below, left) purposefully kicks the victim Adam Johnson (player in white, pictured below, right) with his skate directly in the throat. Adam unfortunately died from his injuries.

At this point, Petgrave has not been arrested and has yet to face any consequences. Meanwhile the disgusting mainstream press is calling this a "freak accident". I can assure you there is no possible way this was an accident. Your body doesn't move like this on the ice, this was an attempted side kick to the throat that resulted in a man's death. Please share if you are able.

Let's talk about Monetization 🧵 Image The most worrisome part of monetization right now is there is no real correlation between quality/value and ad revenue generated.

Why Éowyn is the most misunderstood female character in the Lord of the Rings.

A thread 🧵 Grave and thoughtful was her glance, as she looked on the king with cool pity in her eyes. Very fair was her face and her long hair was like a river of gold. Slender and tall she was in her white robe girt with silver; but strong she seemed and stern as steel, a daughter of kings

Why Boromir is the most misunderstood character in the Lord of the Rings

A thread 🧵 If you asked the casual Lord of the Rings fan who their favorite character is, my guess is you'll have a mix of Aragorn, Legolas, Sam, Gandalf etc.

I always answer with Boromir and without fail, my answer is met with surprise and disapproval.

Community Notes (@CommunityNotes) is arguably the best feature Twitter has ever produced.

A short thread 🧵 Image For years the mainstream press could knowingly write bogus articles that would rack up tens of millions of views, with the goal of pushing a false narrative out to the world.

The Making of an NPC

A thread 🧵 Image First, let’s define what an NPC is and explain the NPC meme.

X Corp is the only platform that has a legitimate shot at replacing far-left tech giants like YouTube & Facebook

A short thread 🧵 Image Posting videos to platforms like Rumble isn’t a long-term solution. Same with posting content to Substack, TruthSocial, Gab and every other fledgling social media platform that has popped up in recent years.

In today’s society, most boys are not trained to fight. This distant relationship with violence has significant societal consequences.

A thread 🧵 Image Some of you may remember one of @jordanbpeterson’s viral interviews where he stated that all male to male interactions are underpinned by the threat of violence.

Effectively what he meant is that men are generally cordial to one another lest they get punched in the face. Image

A thread on the story of William of Cassingham 🧵 Image Before we get into the deeds of William of Cassingham and why some refer to him as the inspiration for the legend of Robin Hood we must first set the stage for what was happening in early 13th century England. Image

While there is a lot of wisdom & value in stoicism. The hamartia of their philosophy is how they speak about anger.

Righteous anger has propelled the great deeds of men throughout history. Without it, men are dull & become consumed with the cleverness of their own thoughts. 🧵 In my view, there are two main forms of anger. Righteous anger and envious anger. We often see this dichotomy played out in our great stories.

Think of Achilles vs Agamemnon or Maximus vs Commodus.

We've all heard the saying "Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times"

A short thread on why this isn't necessarily accurate.

🧵 Image It's undoubtedly true that weak men destroy societies and inevitably create hard times, something we are witnessing first-hand in today's world. Image
