2023 #METGALA STYLECASTING: PSYCHIC FASHION PREDICTIONS (thread) 
When I think about Karl Lagerfeld + his interpretation of the Chanel girl.. he’s always stayed true to who she is, but what she wears + how she wears is shaped on environment; she loves a theme + she fully commits to it.
If she’s gonna be in Salt Lake City she’s gonna pack her furry boots she probably only wears once every 5 years. Business trips to Bombay? She can’t forget her Chanel crystal bindi headpieces .

So what will be really interesting to me is to see how attendees will interpret + honor Karl’s fashion legacy through referencing his iconic moments at Chloè, Chanel, Fendi + his namesake brand.
The girls are gonna be obsessed with layering chains— pearls, crystals, gold, silver.. throw them on!
Where there was Karl there was a leather glove— attendees may pay homeage to Karl wearing a leather glove or variations of gloves ( bonus points for fingerless)
With Fendi celebrating the 25th anniversary of the baguette, we may see exclusive variations of the iconic bag on the carpet
From the most casual knitted styles to glammed up, Karl loved a playsuit or hot pant, let’s see who dares to show a little 🦵🏾
Karl’s muses are definitely gonna pop out, would love to see atleast one person to wear their original runway look!
