This is how moral bankruptcy looks like. The Pope in Hungary kissed Illarion, the Russian Orthodox Church leader. Illarion is under Ukrainian sanctions for supporting russian genocide. And after kissing this war criminal, the Pope went to comfort Ukrainian refugees. 1/n

7/ According to Pope: "The third world war is going on in Ukraine, in which several empires are fighting." He clarified that: “there are imperial interests, not only of the Russian Empire but also of other empires.”
8/ Pope asked to pause the war for two weeks to celebrate Passover. This is instead of condemning the Russian aggression against Ukraine, demanding to stop killing civilians, raping women and children, beheading and castrating men.
