📍How my mother Saving Account drain by hacker with the help of #aadharcard
Here is the complete thread 👇🧵
1/8 Last Month I went to PNB Bank for mother passbook entry. I noticed 0 balance in Account.
After that I asked with banker why it’s showing 0 balance, I called immediately to my mother & explained she has 0 balance. She said I never withdrawal any money, how come it possible?
2/8 After sometime she came to bank along with me and we had started discussion with bank manager.
Bank Manager replied: “Someone drained this account by using Aadhar card fingerprint from Bihar”
3/8 I said we have never shared our Aadhar card (@UIDAI) and OTP with anyone how it can be hacked.
He said here are lot of cases where hacker copied/clone finger print from plot/flat registry documents.
I asked where is our fault?
Is money not safe in bank ?
4/8 This is banking system failure, if someone is doing continue transactions using finger print with different -different location why bank is not blocking account access?
After detail discussion he said only one thing
5/8 This is not in my hand i can only write complaint if you will first file police report. After that I registered same in cyber crime but so far nothing happened. I am attaching copy of complaints.
6/8 So here is the copy of offline complaint, I am masking personal information
7/8 I have already shared complaint with bank. Now @pnbindia is saying you got late for complaint. They are not serious about complaint. I met with lot of victims same day all have different bank account hacking stories.
Bank Address Punjab National Bank Mohna Road Ballabgarh.
8/8 Here is the learning lesson:
Must turn off #aadhar biomatrices authentication. By default it's on.
Hacker can easily clone fingerprint and access bank account with different location.
📍How #AadharCard can destroy your whole life saving bank balance.
👉 If you have linked your #aadhar with the bank account then must read.
Here is the complete thread with proof 🧵👇
1/8 First thing you must know :
When you get a bank account
❌Internet banking is turned off by default,
❌Debit/Credit card is turned off by default
✅#Aadhaar Enabled Payment Systems are enabled by default
So that means you can withdraw through Aadhar card finger prints
2/8 So, what is happening in India if you have not turned off your #aadhar biomatrices (Few persons turned off) then anyone can use your finger print to withdrawal your money.
👉Now big questions :-
How anyone can get your fingerprints ⁉️
Is transaction possible without OTP ⁉️
1.Why do we need blockchain technology?
2.Can blockchain technology replace existing database technologies?
3.Can we use blockchain to solve every problem that can we do with coding?
4.Why do we need to remove intermediaries?
5.What are the limitations of Ethereum?
6.Why are the gas limit and gas price required in a transaction?
7.What are the benefits of having immutable code and irreversible transactions?
8.Why are smart contracts different from traditional programs? 9. Why is the testing of smart contracts a must? 10. Why is the testing of smart contracts a must?
