Regarding ''Wagner'' boss Prigozhin's recent video where he attacks Russian minister of defence Shoigu can't be just taken as angry outburst in my opinion.
Prigozhin is very close to Putin. No person in Russia would be allowed to build an army out of murderers from prisons without Putin's direct blessing.
In my opinion Putin is dissatisfied with Shoigu and Gerasimov but he can't just fire them without a serious pretext.
He will never acknowledge that he made a mistake putting them in the positions they're in right now.
Prigozhin has incredible approval rating among regular soldiers, their direct leader Shoigu on the other hand if not outright hated isn't respected by the military.
I might be completely off analyzing Prigozhin's actions over the past 6 months. But he could be doing Putin's bidding, attacking Shoigu and Gerasimov who haven't done their work as Putin expected from them to do.
Shoigu and Gerasimov could be in for a rough time. If the Russian military begins to retreat during Ukrainian counteroffensive both might not last long, maybe even sudden heart attacks could await.
Prigozhin isn't stupid. He gained a lot of global attention over the past year. His interviews are quoted by biggest media outlets in the world. He likes to manipulate and play with emotions.
There is a purpose behind his videos, we will have to wait to find out what it is.

Former Ukrainian intelligence officer Roman Chervinsky believes Zelensky's team only had plan A for the war, to stay in Ukraine and capitulate in a few days believing Russia would be able to capture Kiev and Ukrainians wouldn't be able to stop Russia.
Just weeks before the invasion, an order was issued to de-mine bridges along the Crimean isthmus and one at Chongar which allowed Russian forces to quickly advance deep into Kherson region.
Even more shocking that a day after the invasion according to Chervinsky Zelensky's office refused to allow destroying a bridge at Irpin River that could lead into Kiev. A commander did so without approval and might have saved Kiev from direct ground attack inside the city.
One of the most powerful Ukrainian oligarchs Igor Kolomoisky that made Zelensky Ukraine's president described in 2019 what is happening in Ukraine very well.
''The US is simply using Ukraine to try to weaken its geopolitical rival. War against Russia, to the last Ukrainian''.
All talks about democracy, freedom, EU, NATO are nothing but gaslighting.
This is all about US hegemony being challenged. The US believes it can expand its interests all over the world, while cold war loser Russia should have no say in it.
The US can expand NATO, get as close as it wants to Russia. Use NATO countries to host troops and use their air space to fly directly next to Russia's border. Russia should stay where it is as US gets the last remaining countries such as Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova into NATO.
Did you know that Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoyskyi installed Zelensky as Ukraine's president and wanted to make a peace agreement with Russia?
US government realized this, sanctioned Kolomoyskyi and took control over Zelensky from him. Making Zelensky reject Minsk agreement.
Kolomoyskyi together with a few other oligarchs knew that all out war with Russia would lead to destruction of factories, oil refineries and other enterprises they've owned. Russia was also likely also take control of parts of land with natural resources.
All of this happened.
Two iron and steel works Azovstal and Illich in Mariupol alone owned by Ukrainian oligarchs suffered over 10 billion dollars of damage. In the past year Ukraine lost control of natural resources in Donbass and agricultural land in Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
Not speaking about the talking heads you see on TV who everyone believes make the decisions.
They're fully aware Russia will never allow Crimea to be taken by NATO's proxy Ukraine.
So what is the actual plan?
Russia will not allow Ukraine on behalf of NATO to take control of Sevastopol naval base which has been Russian for 250 years before Ukrainians and NATO existed.
Losing Black sea fleet and allowing Russia to be humiliated by not stopping the genocide against 2 million ethnic Russians in Crimea would almost certainly lead to the collapse of Russia with the US working to dissolve the country.
Zelensky has no problem using depleted uranium tank shells in Ukraine.
He's just making money here and doing as told by US government and NATO.
He hopes to flee to Hollywood to make a career there.
But he would likely be eliminated by US government, he knows too much.
Most likely either his bodyguard or someone very close to him would terminate his acting career as Ukrainian president if he thinks about capitulating to Russia.
After end of March 2022 where Zelensky was ordered by Boris Johnson and NATO to reject freezing the war as offered by Putin he's only allowed to do what he's told. All of his moves are monitored, Biden admin spies on Zelensky to make sure he does what NATO wants him to.
Ukrainian counteroffensive hasn't officially started and Ukraine already lost the air defense systems that were moved into the area to protect Ukrainian troops from getting bombed with 500 kilograms glide bombs.
Sabotage or costly error.
Few S-300 taken out will now get thousands of Ukrainian troops killed because there will be less tools to protect them with from Russian air force and drone strikes.
Whoever ordered to move them all into Lancet drone range did a great job for Russia.
Ukraine adopted having to fight without own air force because it's also mostly able to prevent Russia from using its air force due to strong Soviet-era air defense systems but they're now running out which could be a disaster for Ukrainian army.
