Financialization of $BRK began in 2018 and went parabolic when covid hit.

All that money did not flow into the general economy - it flowed into the pockets of those holding these stonks.

This stonk didnt go up for growth - it went up for financialization.

With that in mind, listen again to this chat with ole'uncle warren...

These credit impulses are INFLATIONARY

it gives corps liquidity to buy back more stonk
Back to $BRK
(1) credit pulse
(2) massive credit pulse
(3) withdraw credit

...but... Image
moving the credit pulse up...

to keep markets elevated the jFed/jCB's are pulsing credit for that "soft landing".... Image

Lets talk about this - time to rip the bandaid off.

lets look at this - i encourage debate on this - please come at me with some receipts...
🧵👇
What do you do with a colicy/scared baby? You give them their favorite toy/blankie/pascifier.

What do you do with a populace who is scared? You give them a toy to protect themselves - to feel powerful...
Ive had plenty of gun debates here on twitter - im not antigun just like im not anti-screwdriver, anti-hammer, or anti-pen

Each tool has a purpose.

If i need to hunt, im not using a screwdriver
To protect from an intruder, im not using a pen.

Americans r scared. They r angry.

A look at the dollar and markets for a period of time.
Green line is the dollar.
It was very strong in October 2022 and weakened considerably since.

Notice what is happening to EURO - its strengthened a lot.

And interest rate on 30y steady while US05y bouncing around.

adding in the q's - that red area should not have happened. it was year end and markets were trying to figure out whats next

stonks are currencies and will move with currencies. Image
adding in the vix
the vix is a deflator.

if bad things happen, vix spikes - its the instant deflation for stonks.

higher vix goes pushes stonks down.

vix is a currency. Image

Explaining last weeks confusing jobs report...

Remember - people in india/china/vnam make 1/10th what americans make.

Its just business, white collar workers....
Nothing personal.

I have an update to the "desperation index" (DI)
I have added q's to beginning b/c it seems to be basis point of ponzi.

Every spike in DI is not immediate, but it will have mkt impact

BATS:QQQ+(TVC:US30Y-TVC:US05Y)*(BATS:SVIX+130-BATS:UVIX)*5*PEPPERSTONE:SUGAR*(28-BATS:UUP)*10 Image
It is clear to me after watching market activity this year that the fed/foreign CB's are intervening in market functions - between SVIX, US05y, and you can clearly see from desperation index - there is active intervention happening.

The goal is to keep asset prices inflated.
Here is the desperation index vs various JPY pairs. Image

Since January 1, $AAPL has added 760,000,000,000$ in market cap.

This after in Feburary they missed earnings, and this week just barely met lowered earnings.

To put that into perspective, they went up in value by 2 $JPM's in 4 months.

Between Jan 1 and may5, Tim Apple bought back
12,000,000 shares of stonk - prolly for a market outlay of around 1,000,000,000$

That 1$B in stonk buyback helped boost the overall market cap by 760$B? Image
