people don't scream at oney plays for being problematic cuz back when the only other people were usually dingdong and julian tumblr girls treated the irl gay guys with cartoon avatars like fictional characters to ship and they were cemented as acceptable for that reason
people online rarely change their minds about something once the "I like this guy/video series" snowball is big enough unless they had a strong but vocal hatebase to begin with that only gets bigger like extra credits or doug walker. internet users prefer to agree with each other
this is why someone can start off making normal videos & slowly go into weirdo ideology & no one questions it. make a strong first impression and you can get people to entertain the strangest ideas

got parasyte v1 from a local store. so far it's basically just devilman if amon and akira were sharing the same body while being different characters, mixed with carpenter the thing and body snatchers, but it's fun and hitoshi iwaaki draws good faces ImageImageImage
I used to dislike that the paneling and compositions are kinda flat which is why I didn't read it ages ago but I think the not hyper-dramatized matter-of-fact execution adds a unique vibe now Image
