Kyu and Cindy Cho and their 3-year-old son James. Their 6-year-old was injured.
Aishwarya Thatikonda, 27. And Christian LaCour, 20.
Sisters Daniela and Sofia Mendoza, a 4th-grader and 2nd-grader. Their mom was injured.
Korean-Americans Cindy and Kyu Cho went to the Allen outlet mall with their sons six-year-old William and three-year-old James.
Cindy, Kyu, and James were killed. William has been released from the ICU and is the only survivor of the family.
Christian LaCour was working as a security guard at the Allen outlet mall when the shooter opened fire.
His grandmother described him as a beautiful soul with goals for his future. “I was so proud of him.”
Aishwarya Thatikonda was an engineer from India, visiting the mall with a friend.
Aishwarya was killed. Her friend was injured and is in stable condition.
Her family is in India.
Ilda Mendoza and her daughters, Daniela and Sofia, were shopping on Saturday afternoon. Daniela and Sofia, described as “rays of sunshine” by their elementary school principal, were killed.
Their mom remains in critical condition.

An AR-15 pistol functions just like a short-barrel rifle. Short-barrel rifles are strictly regulated under the National Firearms Act because they're easy to conceal and can penetrate bullet proof vests worn by police.
But guess what? AR-15 pistols aren’t regulated under the NFA.
Gun manufacturers specifically modified and designed AR-15 and AK-47 pistols to side step NFA regulation of short-barrel rifles.
These weapons escape the NFA’s definition of short-barreled rifles because they aren't designed to be fired from the shoulder.
