If there was an ounce of honesty in those who are trying to whitewash The Kerala Story, the CM should have stood up and said:

* The figure is not 32000. It is 3000 or 300 or whatever.
* These are our daughters and we shall investigate this and take visible public action against the sub-humans who did this.

* That there will be zero tolerance for Islamists or terror organisations in Kerala.

That he should exploit an unfortunate, horrific tragedy to shift the blame to a Central Minister is evidence of the unprincipled politics he & @INCIndia practice.
Forget the Central Government:

In this tragic case it is not even the fault of the State Govt.

Was the Minister negligent? NO

I request all of you to please read the Minister's letter even if it takes 5 minutes.

The Minister has given a comprehensive reply:
* Pointing out that both Health and Law & Order are State subjects.

* Still , after creating a draft legislation & extensive consultations it was decided NOT TO enact a separate Act, as other professions could make similar demands.

@ramguha should first concentrate on the two totalitarian ideologies which preceded the RSS:

* Islam by a very long shot and

*Communism

The RSS was a response to the all pervasive attack by Islam on an utterly uncomprehending and defenceless Hindu society.
The kind of vulnerability, which somehow did not dissipate even with centuries of Islamic rule & oppression, and which is still being exploited by Islam in Marxist Kerala, which is shown so graphically in The Kerala Story.
• "Civil society', "voluntary associations", "independent thought", "grassroots organisations" are all euphemisms for the Islamo-left, which flourished in academia, media & NGO's, in a Faustian compact, during the UPA & Congress years.

These are all under attack since 2014

Quite a lot of people snigger when Modi talks of India as a Vishwa Guru.

Two reasons:

• Divisions within India

• A self-flagellating & self-defeating belief that India is not, and will never be, powerful enough to be taken seriously by the world.
If we dismiss the doomsayers, as totally missing all the positives, and the definite possibility of India becoming, at least the No.3 power in the world, what role should India aim for in the world, which is realistic and fits it's genius?
