A #Dinkytown safety meeting is being held this evening following the weekend violence and mayhem.
The organizers have decided there will be no public comment. Attendees can listen only. Written questions can be submitted to organizers and they will choose which questions to read… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
2/ Also, parents were specifically told NOT to attend.
5/ Nick Juarez said extra portable lights have been added in areas of Marcy Holmes. And a portable camera has been installed outside Frank and Andrea's Pizza (which has been an epicenter of problems).
Robin could not be more pissed that she has to be here.
This gas spraying incident last week in #NEMPLS was just referenced by MPD, which, BTW, we were the ONLY source to report on this incident.
ZERO reporting from #MNmedia.
MPD said they're planning to erect the barricades again next week in the area of the Stone Arch Bridge, near 5th - 6th and Main St SE , to block traffic.
They said they can't block off the bridge from vehicles due to emergency responders needing access for emergencies.
