Most Indians are not aware of the sinister Bill SB403 that is going to severely impact their lives in times to come. With laws like SB403, the US will devolve into a hostile space for Indians. Indians are all in for a rude shock!

Why is this bill SB403 a Problem?
South Asian , Indians, Hindus, Sikhs, Jains , Buddhists hoteliers or small business owners can be at risk of unfair profiling and targeted enforcement by authorities.

You can be presumed guilty based on last names dietary habits (e.g. vegetarian), religious markers (e.g. Tilak or sacred thread), etc.
The bill creates stigma for being South Asian, especially Hindu or Indian American
The bill denies equal protection and due process under law

SB-403 may appear to expand civil rights protections, but SB-403 is actually an unconstitutional, blatantly discriminatory bill that singles out and racially profiles people of South Asian origin and presumes this minority community is guilty of wrongdoing.

Vast majority of the people of Indian origin do not identify themselves as belonging to any specific caste.
Our friends come from diverse backgrounds and cultures - irrespective of their race, religion, nationality, or even the so-called caste

SB-403 will directly lead to hatred against people with Indian ancestry-bullying, false workplace discrimination.
The word "caste" in the bill is a conduit for the word "Hindu" and the aforementioned act will specifically target Hindus in California.

We are against all forms of discrimination.
Any discrimination is bad, and every possible discrimination is already covered and protected in existing laws.
