Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, last Friday unveiled Business Process Automation of Certificates of Occupancy for Federal Government Lands at the Ministry of Works and Housing Headquarters, Abuja.

With the digitalization, manual processing of application for and signing of CofO which used to be time-consuming would stop with the introduction of the digital platform. The process that "used to take 3 months will now be available in 24 hours," Babatunde Fashola stated.
Also, the process automation will improve efficiency in land registration, prevent the issuance of counterfeit CofO and increase revenue to the government.

So far, over 2,200 files have been digitalized. Image

According to the Statement, Roads leading directly to the Bridge such as Costain inward Eko Bridge and Carter Bridge descent inward Ijora Oloye have, as a result, been closed to traffic from last night.

President Muhammadu Buhari has flagged off the construction of the Ogoni Power Project, expressing confidence that the project upon completion will spur socio-economic development of Ogoniland, create job opportunities for artisans and enhance entrepreneurial growth.
The President virtually participated in the groundbreaking of the Centre of Excellence for Environmental Restoration and the Ogoni 100 Bed Specialist Hospital, performed on his behalf by @MohdHAbdullahi at Wiiya Akara, Khana LGA, Rivers State.

On the power project, the President noted that it will bring sustainability to the Potable Water Schemes, Livelihood Programme, Centre of Excellence for Environmental Restoration, and the Specialist Hospital projects being undertaken by @HYPREPNigeria.

"I have given approval to the CBN that the old N200 bank notes be released back into circulation and that it should also be allowed to circulate as legal tender with the new N200, N500, and N1000 banknotes for 60 days from Feb. 10, 2023 to April 10 2023."- President @MBuhari
"In line with Section 20(3) of the CBN Act 2007, all existing old N1000 and N500 notes remain redeemable at the CBN and designated points.
"Let me assure Nigerians that our admin. will continue to assess the implementation with a view to ensuring that Nigerians are not unnecessarily burdened. In this regard, the CBN shall ensure that new notes become more available & accessible to our citizens through the banks.
