With the digitalization, manual processing of application for and signing of CofO which used to be time-consuming would stop with the introduction of the digital platform. The process that "used to take 3 months will now be available in 24 hours," Babatunde Fashola stated.
Also, the process automation will improve efficiency in land registration, prevent the issuance of counterfeit CofO and increase revenue to the government.
So far, over 2,200 files have been digitalized.
At the unveiling, the Minister presented Certificates of Occupancy to some recipients.

The Minister of Works and Housing @FMWHNIG, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, SAN, in a Press Statement signed by his Special Adviser on Communications, Mr. Hakeem Bello, identified the failed section as the Ijora-Olopa inward Ijora-Oloye–Apapa.
According to the Statement, Roads leading directly to the Bridge such as Costain inward Eko Bridge and Carter Bridge descent inward Ijora Oloye have, as a result, been closed to traffic from last night.

Speaking yesterday at a short event in the State House, to decorate the CPSO, Aliyu Abubakar Musa, with his new rank of Police Commissioner, President Buhari said he was very impressed by the officer’s “loyalty and for my personal security. Serving me is very difficult.”

"In line with Section 20(3) of the CBN Act 2007, all existing old N1000 and N500 notes remain redeemable at the CBN and designated points.
"Let me assure Nigerians that our admin. will continue to assess the implementation with a view to ensuring that Nigerians are not unnecessarily burdened. In this regard, the CBN shall ensure that new notes become more available & accessible to our citizens through the banks.
