1️⃣ Choose a strategy that suits you: Set a focus on either SO5 or Trading. Consider the skill set required and which approach aligns better with your preferences.

SO5: This strategy demands careful planning and research, along with patience and a long-term vision.
Trading: This involves being active online, making quick deals, negotiating with other managers or gallery sellers, and understanding market dynamics.

Personally, I decided to go for SO5 because I enjoy the art of creating teams, lining them up, and watching their games unfold. I also enjoy the process of growing my gallery over time more than constantly buying and selling players.

2️⃣ Research the environment for your chosen strategy. Ask yourself where you can leverage your budget most effectively in the market. We will focus on SO5 for now.

3️⃣ Identify which SO5 Region and leagues within the region are particularly interesting. Take into account fixture schedules, as midweek coverage often translates to easier Gameweek. Also compare current market prices to other regions. Think about transfer risks as well.

Instead of trying to be everywhere from the beginning, focus on a few competitions that offer good value. Study the potential of your teams and determine the average points required to win cards or other rewards in your chosen divisions.

4️⃣ Aim to build stacks within your teams (Players from same team), especially in Limited and Rare divisions where cards are more readily available than in Super Rare/Unique. Stacks increase the likelihood of achieving high-ceiling scores, which are crucial in L and R comps.

Choose teams, which are dominant in their league! Ideally, your stack includes a strong player in every position, but if that's not possible, include a top player with a consistent track record of high-scoring performances (e.g., Kimmich, Messi, Mbappe) in the missing position.

5️⃣ Apply Backtesting on your teams (for example with Soraredata Concept Builder) and gradually start building them based on solid research and analysis. Check the prices, scores and play time of SUB players. Avoid impulsive trading driven by emotions or short-term observations.

6️⃣ Follow your teams closely and seek expertise in your chosen region. Be patient and don't set high expectations. Even the best teams are subject to variance. Good results will eventually follow in the long run.

7️⃣ Enjoy the rewards you win, but make sure you sell them if they don't fit into your strategy. Reinvest the ETH in improving your existing teams until they are well-rounded and capable of covering every Gameweek in that region.

8️⃣ Once you have established a strong foundation in one division, expand your focus organically into new divisions. Set a clear direction and use the rewards you win to gradually grow your gallery into next division/region.
