In which SJ came back in time, to the moment he was reunited with YQY. The moment he saw WYZ about to attack YQY, he quickly stabbed the scum to death.

However this time, WYZ didn't just die.
WYZ in his fury detonated his own core before his death, causing the ground to shake and SJ to be blasted off with the residual energy.

He blacked out.

When he woke up, YQY was by his side.

He shouldn't get involved with YQY anymore, for YQY's own good.

"Who are you?"
If there was no past tying their fate together anymore YQY wouldn't feel burdened. SJ decided to feign amnesia, so YQY could let go.

Hearing him, YQY turned pale and quickly called for the healer.

They theorized that the shock and head injury had caused SJ to lose his memory.
"Will his memory never come back?" YQY suddenly asked.

"It could come back, tho it's also possible it won't," said MQF.

SJ smiled. "Thanking all of you for treating me, but...i don't want to trouble you all anymore. I will leave now."

YQY grabbed his arm.

"You can't."
YQY's expression was strangely dark as he looked at SJ. He softened his grip and laced their fingers together.

"You can't go. You are my omega. My cultivation partner."

SJ:....

Fucking what?! Why was YQY lying like this?!

SJ was horrified but he couldn't show it.
"Are we...really partners?"

"Of course," YQY confidently answered and brought SJ's hand to his lips. "Not just any partners. We have been promised to each other since childhood."

The trajectory of his fate certainly had changed compared to his past life. He didn't get taken in by QJPL and pretend to be a beta.

Instead he was taken to QDP, made to stay in YQY's room, and was introduced to the PLs as YQY's mate.

SJ was on his flight back home, when he noticed the young man sitting next to him was reading his book.

It was a novel he wrote last year. It made decent amount, but nowhere near as popular as his other works.

Esp among young men like this guy.
"Is it good?" SJ asked, out of curiosity. He never had chance to hear an honest review from a reader before.

The young man noticed him and smiled just to be polite. "I'm only halfway through but so far it's been quite interesting."

SJ nodded. "Do you like the author?"
"I've read his past works before. Eloquent writing, beautiful choice of words, and intricate plots," SY answered. "If only he'd write more than just tragedies. Every book is just different ways of different MCs suffering."

Oh. So this person did notice.

I ship my rival x me AU but with LiuJiu when

LQG and SJ both debuted at the same time, both around the same age and good-looking. LQG usually stars in action movies/dramas, while SJ in art films/indie movies. They don't really see each other, yet somehow are considered rivals.
Then SJ receives his first romantic comedy movie project, starring him and LQG as the ML and 2nd ML.

Ofc he had to do some research about LQG, whom he heard about so much but never actually worked with.

Little brothers were a headache. SJ knew this so darn well but nobody agreed with him. Everyone called his baby brother an angel, but they just haven't seen SY in his true form - yelling at the computer and getting into fights with strangers online over fictional characters.
Here he was at the hospital, bcs his stupid brother decided to eat the pack of yogurt left since the beginning of time.

SJ blinked, and turned to look at the man waiting next to him in line at the emergency.
He was handsome, seemingly around SJ's age, with perfect hair and crisp suit.

The man noticed SJ watching him. "Sorry, was talking to myself."

AU where out of curiousity, SY read one of PIDW fanfics shared in the forum.

It went deep into SJ's backstory, and focused on his regrets for not being able to save LQG, his secret lover.

SY was mesmerized by the writing - that he didn't notice the expiry date on his yogurt.
His transmigration journey went wrong, and now he was reborn as a small child into PIDW world before LBH's arrival to CQMS.

Good.

He made his way to CQMS, shocking everyone with his resemblance to SJ.

SY grinned. Grinning, he yelled, "Mama!"
