Approximately 50,000 residents of the Ogale and Bille towns are suing due to spills that damaged farms and water.
Shell made a record $40 billion in profits last year.
However, it is unwilling to compensate anybody harmed by its oil operations.

However, they are abandoning injured areas and selling to local enterprises accused of even more spills and gas flaring as a result of corruption and lax regulation.
This is injustice and we need to speak up against it, enough is enough, people need justice not injustice.
