114,000 votes counted.

Wayne Williams and his campaign team look on as the first batch of ballots are released. He trails Yemi Mobolade by more than 17,000 votes. #copolitics@KRDONC13
This may be billed as a surprise, but it’s not. Privately-shared poll numbers have shown Mobolade with a strong grip on the race for weeks. #copolitics
After looking at the results, Williams and his campaign manager have decided he’d speak to crowd now.
Williams told me today to be cautious about early results because conservatives tend to vote late.
But said if it’s an overwhelming lead, he’d concede early. #Copolitics
BREAKING: Wayne Williams is conceding in the Colorado Springs Mayoral runoff. #copolitics@KRDONC13
🧵: When I spoke with @heidiganahl this week, she doubled down on her comments that kids were identifying as cats in schools. On @KDVR, she said it was happening in Jefferson County.
When I asked if she had any specific examples, Ganahl said, "many, many." #copolitics@KRDONC13
Our interview was shot on Tuesday. Ganahl said she was hearing from "all the parents across the Denver metro area," and went on to talk about other issues in Denver Public Schools.
I'm not sure when the interview with @KDVR was recorded, saying it was happening in Jeffco.
A Jeffco spokesperson told @KDVR, "there is absolutely no truth to this claim.”
From @HeidiBeedle's article on this: "These claims are frequently used to conflate the existence and/or acceptance of furries with transgender students." @KRDONC13 #copolitics
