Hasn't anyone thought about the implications of what the government admits to doing?
Forget that they factually, deliberately, stopped transmitting Mode-S/ADS-B to hide their "training" operations over Ottawa; what is their data retention policy, on the data they collected from… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
Let's review the flight data that shows the arrival of American-registered N330TT #A3978A call sign CAVE033 operated by MAG Aerospace (per contract) from when they arrived in Ottawa on Tuesday January 25, 2022 from Hagerstown, Maryland - immediately before the arrival of the… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
Now let's review what I think is more realistically actually training in July 2021.
It's the same MAG Aerospace-contracted American-registered N330TT #A3978A ISR plane using no call sign (which is not suspicious). It took off from Hagerstown and flew for 1.5hrs to Ottawa, with… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
Have you ever had training in a corporate environment where the trainer needs to come in from outside the organisation?

What happens first thing Monday morning on "Day 1" of any course?
Much earlier than Monday, probably because they got the boring stuff out of the way Monday. They landed only an hour later 12:09 (17:09Z) presumably for lunch. They're not animals, and they have visitors.
Two days of #CANSOFCOM ISR training over Ottawa - so far - in Sumer 2021 - and not a single gap where their transponder was shut off; isn't that remarkable? Not for training it isn't, of course they wouldn't turn off their transponder for training, it would be completely… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
2021-07-07 (Wednesday)
Leg 1 departure from CYOW at 08:44 (13:44Z) even earlier because they've got everything covered, this is presumably Day 3 of the training. They landed at 11:42 (16:42Z) because they've got to eat, and pee.
Leg 1 - Early bird catches the worm, and they are airborne at 08:14 (13:24Z) and land at 10:53 (15:53Z). I guess they really had to pee.
Leg 2 - Took off at 12:14 (17:14Z) - they took an early lunch, and they're back at it. They landed 16:37… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
2021-07-09 (Friday - Day 5)
What happens on course on Friday?
Maybe finish early? Get to play with the cool/advanced stuff? Does that hold up?
Leg 1 took off at 08:17 (13:17Z) and at 08:32 (13:32Z) after starting to circle Bayshore Shopping Centre they turned off their ADS-B… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
2021-07-12 (Monday - Day 6?)
Can we tell if this is a continuation of the course that ended its 5th day Friday?
The plane didn't go home for the weekend, BTW, they stayed in Ottawa and enjoyed the nightlife. 😴
Because the plane is now regularly breaking Canadian aviation regulations by turning off their ADS-B transponder in flight, the tools we're using are breaking down. ADSBexchange/Dump1090 are having a hard time figuring out which of these legs are… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
2021-07-14 (Wednesday - Day 8?)
More of the same. They take off, and turn off their transponder, which civilian aircraft are not allowed to do, and re-enable it right before landing.
Leg 1 take-off 08:27(13:27Z) and disappeared at 08:31(13:31Z), reappeared at 10:51(15:51Z) and… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
2021-07-15 (Thursday - Day 9?)
Leg 1 take-off at 08:22(13:22Z) vanish at 08:24(13:24Z), reappear at 10:54(15:54Z), land at 11:01(16:01Z)
Leg 2 take-off 12:26(17:26Z), vanish 12:30(17:30Z), reappear 13:55(18:55Z), land 14:04(19:04Z)
2021-07-16 (Friday - Day 10?)
Leg 1 take-off at 8:37(13:37Z) transponder off at 08:39(13:39Z), back on at 11:00(16:00Z), landed at 11:05(16:05Z).
Leg 2 took off at ~12:00(17:00Z), landed in to Buffalo NY 13:14(18:14Z), then on to Hagerstown
That's either one two week course (that's my guess), or two one week courses; it's hard to tell. What isn't hard to tell is reading the Canadian Forces policy regarding their transponder posture, which quite clearly states that domestic training is not secret, and will not be… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
Showing up mid-week, only flying Thursday/Friday, then travelling home on Saturday broke their routine from the previous 2 week course in 2021. It is not plausible they would fly up in secret, conduct only 2 days of "training" over the convoy, and go home
🇨🇦⚓️ Since the Royal Canadian Navy refuse to take pictures or publicise the RCN's operation tailing the Russian Navy since June 1, once again the Americans will do the work for us. Thanks DVIDS! You keep Canadians better informed than our PAOs. 🧵

🇷🇺 On May 17 the Russian MoD announced a flotilla of Russian Navy Northern Fleet ships departed Severomorsk for a long out of area deployment. Within a week, they had published a high quality video of Frigate Admiral Gorshkov performing exercises in the Atlantic. #ВМФ #СФ
The four vessels in the flotilla are:

🇨🇦🇮🇱 About an hour ago #RCAF CC-130J Hercules 130603 #C2B53F fell victim to Israeli GNSS/GPS spoofing & jamming. 130603's transponder ceased transmitting accurate position data, then stopped transmitting position data at all. globe.adsbexchange.com/?icao=c2b53f&l…
It is unclear if flight #CFC2503 is air-dropping relief to Gaza, or transiting near #Israel.
It is clear that Israel is not pausing their months long electronic warfare attack on all civilian and military aviation in line of sight, and the media doesn't want to mention it.

🇨🇦⚓️ Where #HMCSMontréal has been since March 26, when they departed Halifax on #OpPROJECTION, using @MarineTraffic AIS-T and AIS-S data. 🧵
This thread serves as a guide, to you the reader, of what to look for in Royal Canadian Navy communications; it's your crackerjack box secret decoder ring when they're vague.
All of this information has been broadcast by the ship's AIS transponder over the airwaves, picked up with every SIGINT satellite in orbit, military and commercial, every plane in line-of-sight(LOS), collected by every significant adversary, and included in a dossier with other intelligence, that was reported up their chain of command, before I woke up this morning.
Our military and government public affairs officials can, without compromising national security, speak plainly and include everything up to (at least) this level of information, because every adversary already knows; they told them. They got the memo.
This is also the minimum amount of detail that the public should expect in any media story about HMCS Montréal's deployment; all this information is at journalists' fingertips too. Public affairs should be more forthright to make journalists' lives easier. This information isn't a secret to the outside world.
🇨🇦⚓️ #HMCSMontréal arrived at the Port Said anchorage on April 17, traversed the Suez Canal into the Red Sea on April 18, then stopped transmitting AIS from April 19 until they arrived in Salalah, Oman on May 8. #OpPROJECTION
🇬🇧 41% (9) of the RAF A400M Atlas fleet of 22 do not fly. Of the remaining 59% (13) that do fly, some of them are deployable, and some are homebodies doing training and certification. #ZM406 returned from the Airbus depot in Getafe, Spain 🇪🇸.
🇬🇧 RAF C-130J Hercules #ZH869#43C198 was sent to Cambridge 🇬🇧 to be decommissioned, bringing the number of Hercs remaining to 5, all of which are flying regularly, except #ZH870#43C04C hasn't flown in a week.. maybe they're next? 🪦
+ No coverage of the Herc flight to Benghazi.
🇬🇧 Only RAF C-17 Globemaster (#ZZ172#43C172) hasn't flown for over a month; it's probably undergoing indepth maintenance. 88% of the fleet is regularly in the air.
