Amber Wittler is the next witness. She's a surgical assistant at Blessing Hospital and worked with Becky. She said she met Becky in 2016. She continued to have regular contact, even when Wittler no longer worked with her. #bliefnicktrial
Wittler said she spoke with Becky one time about her ongoing divorce. Becky said she wanted to change the locks, but Tim wouldn't let her. #bliefnicktrial
Wittler said the conversation she had with Becky was in 2021. She said doesn't know Tim personally but had met him a couple of times. Wittler is excused. #bliefnicktrial
The next witness is Becky Spotts of Quincy. She is a speech language pathologist at Blessing Hospital. She also knew Becky through CrossFit and became friends with her. She sent several messages with Becky through Facebook. #Bliefnicktrial
Sports said she received messages from Becky on June 4, 2021. Becky wrote, "I'm wanting to never have my children around them alone ever again." Spotts said it was clear Becky was writing about Ray Bliefnick. #bliefnicktrial
Becky also wrote that she believed Tim "has serious mental health problems and is becoming more vengeful and unpredictable." She called the situation with Tim a "f**king nightmare." #Bliefnicktrial
Spotts said to Schnack that she spoke with Becky on Facebook because she had lost her phone number. Spotts is dismissed. #bliefnicktrial
The next witness is Melissa Young, a nurse. She worked with Becky at Blessing Hospital. She ran into Becky in January 2023 at TJ Maxx. "She looked mentally and physically exhausted," Young said as Becky described her divorce. #Bliefnicktrial
Young also said Becky told her that Tim had been hiding money and that she thought "Tim might snap any minute." Young testified that she hadn't seen Becky in three years before the meeting at TJ Maxx. #bliefnicktrial
Young is released. The next witness is Amanda Keck, the records supervisor at the Quincy Police Department. On Feb. 10, Keck said a phone call came into QPD. The call was received on a speaker phone. The caller was Tim. He said he wanted to return a gun to Becky. #Bliefnicktrial
Keck testified that Tim said, "I don't want to give a gun to that crazy bitch." Schnack said Tim was simply asking for assistance in returning a gun to his ex-wife. #Bliefnicktrial
Keck is excused. Next up is Shannon Pilkington, a lieutenant for the Quincy Police Department. He was the watch commander when Tim made the call to QPD asking to return the gun to Becky. #Bliefnicktrial
Pilkington said Tim was told he had a court order to return the gun. Tim told Pilkington he was scared what Becky might do if they met face to face. #Bliefnicktrial
Schnack asks a couple of questions, and Pilkington is released. Jones runs out of witnesses. Adrian gives the jury instruction about evidence that Schnack has objected throughout the trial, then says the jury is finished for the day. #Bliefnicktrial
Adrian instructs the jury to be in the courthouse by 8:50 a.m. Thursday, with the trial scheduled to resume at 9 a.m. #Bliefnicktrial

Pezzella explains her job and experience as a crime scene technician to the jury.
She was the crime scene at Becky Bliefnick’s home the night of her murder. #Bliefnicktrial

Schnack asks about how close Collins and Becky were. He said he hadn’t talked to her lately. She reinforces Collins saying Tim wouldn’t do it. #bliefnicktrial
Back in the courtroom. Adrian reminds people in the courtroom to turn their cellphones off. "Off means off," he said. "Not vibrate. Not in airplane mode."
The jury is seated. Kelly Leapley is to be the first witness of the afternoon. #bliefnicktrial
Sorry, it's Kelly Lepley. She lives in Pennsylvania. Moved to Quincy in 2021 and stayed for about a year. She lived in an upstairs apartment on Hampshire next door to Tim Bliefnick. She worked at Quincy Medical Group. #bliefnicktrial
