TWITTER ADVICE🧵: @chrismessina formerly @factoryjoe came up with the idea of using #HASTAGS on Twitter. It was a wonderful invention but its time has passed. The Twitter algorithm penalizes tweets that use more than one and in my experience, even one can handicap a tweet.

TWITTER ADVICE🧵: Never use Twitter's wonderful article preview feature. Twitter penalizes article links. If you want to include a link make sure you include a picture from the article (or related) to override the article preview. Twitter loves media posts.

TWITTER ADVICE🧵: A better strategy for including links on Twitter is to create a mini-thread. The 1st tweet includes your message and a screenshot of the article. The 2nd tweet includes a link to the article either using the link preview feature or a picture from the article.

TWITTER ADVICE🧵: Always 'like' and 'bookmark' your own tweets. At the end of the day, if you don't like your own tweets why bother tweeting them? Twitter loves signals and likes and bookmarks are signals.

TWITTER ADVICE🧵: Find your best-performing tweets over the past 72hrs and turn them into threads. Each time you add a tweet to the thread you boost the visibility of the first - as much as 10X. Include flashbacks, updates, and additional sources.

TWITTER ADVICE🧵: Unblock everyone. Only use BLOCK if someone is threatening you. Instead, use MUTE to make Twitter more enjoyable. Twitter penalizes the use of blocks and rewards mutes. The best part of MUTE is the fact that the target has NO idea you aren't listening.

TWITTER ADVICE🧵: Never limit replies. By definition doing so will limit the reach of your tweets significantly. Again, if people are trolling you just MUTE them. Very quickly your experience on Twitter will improve and your reach will grow.

TWITTER ADVICE🧵: Never reply to trolls. If you must, take a screenshot of the comment and include it in your tweet w/o a link to their handle or tweet. Replies boost visibility - deny that boost to your trolls. Don't reward them. But... reply to everyone you respect.

TWITTER ADVICE🧵: ALWAYS give credit when you tweet an image, video, or thought from another user - even if they don't follow you. I use 'hat tip' or 'h/t' along with their Twitter handle. It doesn't cost you anything to give them credit and it increases your reach and theirs.

A new White House release quotes President Trump asserting that Biden’s widespread autopen use, covering 92% of his signatures, was never formally authorized, making the affected executive orders illegal. Autopens are legal only with explicit presidential approval, absent here due to Biden’s declining capacity and reliance on staff. The ruling nullifies major Biden-era immigration moves, clemency grants and regulatory directives. Trump says the extent of forged executive paperwork is unprecedented in US history.

ANTIFA: The Portland Police are now colluding with Antifa to prosecute federal officers protecting the ICE facility. Each time federal officers engage with Antifa Portland Police liaisons collect statements and videos from Antifa to facilitate state criminal charges against DHS agents. The officers do NOT intervene when they witness Antifa committing assaults, vandalism, or trespass - famously refusing to arrest journalist @KatieDaviscourt's attacker and more recently arresting X independent journalist Nick Sortor for disorderly conduct (When Antifa set fire to the American flag Nick put it out - presumably that is the disorderly conduct).

MAHA: It turns out Harvard sounded the alarm about Tylenol before Secretary RFK Jr. and President Trump. Last month Jay Lau, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health published a systematic review of 46 prior studies using the Navigation Guide methodology, finding that many show a positive association between prenatal acetaminophen use and neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs) including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and ADHD.

LAWFARE🧵2/9: Sergio Gor's lawyer, Robert Garson, is demanding that I remove the op-ed from 𝕏, issue a full retraction falsely claiming the article contained false statements about Gor, and issue a prominent apology on 𝕏 and in a local newspaper expressing regret for the harm I caused Gor, including emotional distress.

LAWFARE🧵3/9: Let’s dispense with the pretense. My op-ed was built on a foundation of already published mainstream reporting, further corroborated by more than a dozen sources spanning the White House, executive agencies, and members of Mar-a-Lago. I did not, and deliberately chose not to, include any allegations that had not already entered the public domain. While some of what I uncovered through my own reporting was explosive, it was also beside the point. My objective was focused and clear: to expose how Sergio Gor sabotaged what may have been the most consequential political partnership in modern American history, between President Trump and Elon Musk.

The allegations shared with me by insiders were certainly lurid, but they were not central to the thesis of my column. So I excluded them. That’s called editorial judgment, something Gor and his lawyer seem to confuse with defamation.

In this thread, I will address the claims made in the demand letter from Mr. Gor’s attorney. I do so not because I fear legal reprisal (though if I'm honest I do), but because the truth deserves daylight. If Mr. Gor takes issue with the facts or the framing, he is welcome to make his case publicly. But let’s be clear: courts are not truth tribunals for political speech, and they were never meant to serve as censors for dissenting opinion. That belongs to the American people, not a bench and gavel.
