As planned, we will be progressing to a low-tax mode for DEX trades on Uniswap. This change is designed to ensure self-strengthening liquidity on the ATOR/WETH pair, and support our growth efforts. Token transfers, activity on CEXs and the protocol itself will not be impacted.
Our tax structure adheres to our initial tokenomics documentation, applying a 4% on both buy and sell transactions to the ATOR/WETH pair on Uniswap, with half of this automatically used to pair and burn LP.
The success of our prior raise period means we already have the runway to deliver the protocol, the first round of hardware, and the remuneration of our dedicated team of engineers.
This additional fee now enables us to expand our marketing, outreach efforts, and continuously improve DEX liquidity – thereby bolstering the ATOR ecosystem and priming it for our planned growth.
We're excited for what's ahead! Stay tuned for updates on our new utility roadmap, refreshed website, and more announcements. And we remain on track for our protocol and relay hardware release in Q4 this year.
2/8 ATOR's mission is rooted in providing relays for robust privacy to internet users worldwide. In an era where personal data is a commodity, our aim is to give relay control back to the individual, ensuring a decentralized, safer, more private digital ecosystem.
3/8 A central aspect of our work is to combat censorship and promote free access to information. #ATOR facilitates unobstructed internet use, helping users globally to overcome barriers in their digital exploration and communication.
🔹ATOR's Live Runtime Environment and Future Roadmap
Here’s a quick update👇
1/🧵
2/4 Last week marked the launch of ATOR's live runtime environment. Since then, all relay verifications have been carried out by our gassless validator, significantly improving our verification efficiency.
3/4 Although our initiative is in its infancy. We're focused on hardening it, working towards a robust system that can withstand potential pen-tests by our community.
2/8 Net neutrality is the principle that all internet traffic should be treated equally, regardless of its source, destination, or content. Let's explore why preserving net neutrality is vital for a fair, open, and democratic internet.
3/8 Equal Access to Information: Net neutrality ensures everyone has equal access to information and resources, fostering a fair and open internet where users can learn, share, and collaborate.
2/4 The #ATOR reward function creates a positive reinforcement cycle that encourages existing onion router relays to register with the ATOR protocol. By offering rewards in ATOR tokens, operators can cover their upkeep costs and even profit from their participation.
3/4 Example: A non-profit organization running a relay decides to register with ATOR. By paying a small registration fee, they can mine ATOR tokens based on their node's uptime, offsetting operational costs and making it a more sustainable endeavor.
