GK: Tiernan Brooks

#Notts confirmed today they are looking for another senior keeper, so a full time loan for Brooks is needed

Brooks showed he is a confident keeper, a strong shot stopper and most crucially for the Heed, quality at playing out from the back. A wonderful fit

CB: Jack Bodenham

Gateshead need technically proficient defenders, and 23 year old Bodenham is certainly that. He plays plenty of passes out from the back and has strong technique due to his pedigree

Based in the North East and likely to be low cost, it makes sense

LWB: Reece Kendall

Playing his football just down the road at Spennymoor, Kendall handled the step up from Matlock brilliantly, suggesting he could do the same again

One of the most attacking full backs in the league, I believe he would be a perfect fit at LWB

CM: Ed Francis

Another #Notts shout in this list is a man who impressed during his loan there earlier this season

Francis is a quality technical footballer, and showed he fits the style Williamson wants to play. He’s already impressed there, and making it permanent makes sense

ST: Darius Osei

27 year old Osei hit double digits for South Shields this season, and I believe he is ready to step back up the divisions

Geography makes sense, and he’s used to a full time model, so would have no issues adapting there either. I believe he’d compliment them

As was highlighted by @CallumTREFL, Whelan should really have been listed here, and really it was a toss up between him & Francis

As a result I’ve decided to include a special bonus 6th signing. Whelan was immense on loan; making it permanent just makes sense

Jack Wilshere recently left Norwich City in order to pursue a career as a Head Coach

His playing career is well documented; but what is he like as a coach? How does he want his teams to play?

Here we analyse how he set Norwich up, including rotations, press & more

The first thing to note is that this is an extremely small sample size; he was in charge for just 2 games

1 of those games was against 10 men for the vast majority

He’s also only been a senior coach for less than a season; so is likely still learning

Wilshere sets his side up in a 4-3-3 / 4-1-4-1 shape, with a single midfielder sitting at the base of the midfield 3

His sides build from the back, with this single DM the sole passing option

As we will see with the rotations he likes to use, his system is fluid, especially down the left hand side, where Nunez likes to peel wide

Despite being from Scotland, Mair has spent the majority of his career at Norwich

He’s shown himself to be a very capable keeper at L2 level previously, and at 24, he’s certainly one for the future too. He’s on a free as well

GK - Nik Tzanev

Let go by rivals Northampton Town, Tzanev would be a very good option in goal for this level

If the fact he’s turned out recently for their rivals can be looked past, Tzanev has well over 100 EFL appearances to his name already. Wouldn’t have to move too far either

The first thing that catches the eye about Crowley is the speed and quickness of his movement. In particular, how quickly he’s able to manipulate the ball by shifting his feet

🧵When Cole Stockton (@cstockton94) signed for #BAFC I expected the reaction to be overwhelmingly positive

It was in fact mixed, which surprised me

So here is a thread showing why I believe Burton fans should be optimistic about their new signing 👇

Firstly, he is a player capable of the spectacular. He’s able to grab the game and win points single handedly with moments like this

7 of his 11 goals came in his final 4 games; he almost single handedly kept Morecambe up

Stockton is a big forward, over 6ft. But his improvisation is always so impressive, especially when it involves acrobatics

Here he reacts so quickly, capitalising on an opportunity with a spectacular finish
