Honestly today’s production felt a little *meh* but I’ve consistently written for 12 straight days now so I’ll look at the glass as half full. Tomorrow I start out writing a big action scene.
I always end a writing session with a few lines starting the next scene so I get a kickstart the next day for where the hell my head was before.
I would not be this consistent without an outline. I’m never starting a project like this without an outline again, because I go on flights of fancy and then I get β€œlost.” Even if the outline sucks and needs revisions I have an idea of where the hell im going.

"Bow down to the Woke Lords."

Patrioticus shook his head. "No. I will not."

Emperor Biden slashed at his throat, sentencing Patrioticus to death. The gates slid open, and the 10-foot tall Pride Goliath entered, ready to fabulously feast.
Another gate opened and Chicagan, The Beast Of The BLM Lands arrived. "Reparations are due," he said, pointing to Patrioticus. "White pride? No, white death!"

Patrioticus fell to his knees and prayed to the Right Wing Jesus. "Job creators, protect me and mine sword."
Lady VP Harris whispered in Emperor Biden's ear, her forked tongue transmitting messages of racial justice. The Emperor smiled.

"It's a Green New Death, for you, Jack," he bellowed at Patrioticus.

Paladin AOC, arrived, toting her sword Patriarchsmash. "You shall rue."

i did a story back in january about how states like wisconsin got money from biden and THEY GAVE IT TO SMALL BUSINESSES AND THEN THEY HIRED PEOPLE AND THEN THINGS GOT GOOD AGAIN americanindependent.com/badger-bounceb…
sorry for caps but its like super obvious shit that even people like me who suck at math can understand, but the combination of gop lies and mainstream media incredulity that this could work leads to a consensus that this is crazy left wing stuff but its BASICCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC
me, guy who is bad at math: yes, if you give people money to get them through a rough patch, they will spend it and keep them afloat and then things get good again

the right: no, give it to elon and bezos so they can build more dumb yachts and then trickle

media: genius.

remember this clearly:

1. pandemic hit
2. people lost jobs, business had to shutter
3. biden gave a shit ton of money
4. business stayed open
5. the economy grew
6. unemployment fell
i know because nobody remembers anything, and because the right is dishonest and the media is broken, that we will come back to this. but the whole idea that we can't spend money to help people because it will make them not work and kill the economy IS TOTAL BULLSHIT.
IT WAS ALWAYS BULLSHIT AND WE'VE KNOWN IT WAS BULLSHIT SINCE FDR SAVED THE ECONOMY, BUT HERE WE ARE AGAIN PROVING THAT IT IS BULLSHIT.

there is no tiny shred of information that pop culture websites won't write up as a whole article. we think (rightly) that political media focuses on nonsense but they take it to a whole other level. every aside in a press junket is like 30 articles.

this article says "A novel should be more than just an artifact of imagination; it should be an act of revelation."

why? i mean, its nice if you do, but a novel can just be entertaining. newrepublic.com/article/172553…
and i know this hits a little close to home cause im writing a thing right now that's literally just about the thing and nothing deeper.
i wrote a superhero fiction thing once, and one of the comments said that this was a little disappointing cause it wasnt my usual satire/politics. and my thought was, yeah, cause i just wanted to write a (hopefully) entertaining thing with a superhero. thats all!
