The last Imperial Dynasty, Qing Dynasty is not included because the "Draft history of Qing" that was supposed to be written by the Republic of China was interrupted by war.
When compiling the Draft history of Qing, the then Beiyang government of the ROC were also very biased

And not always for the benefit of innovation or higher productivity.
This type of fierce, unproductive competition and high property price, is common in North East Asia (China, Japan and South Korea).
