someone posted and deleted a tweet about testing positive for covid but still attending the eras tour. people are incredibly selfish. remember this when you decide to attend superspreader events, eat out, etc. they're risking the lives and long-term health of those around them.
a lot of the covid conscious ppl i know on this app talk about taylor, swifties, & the eras tour bc it's one of the biggest events happening rn. concerts are superspreaders & ppl are attending them knowing they're sick & exposing those around them - and so forth
and no masks. concert goers could get sick, spread it to those around them, and so it goes. the chain of transmission. people exposed could become seriously ill, disabled with #LongCOVID - even a "mild" infection can lead to it - or die.
we are all vulnerable. it doesn't matter if you're young, abled, and/or vaccinated. viruses don't discriminate & it's foolish to underestimate the damage they can do. we know covid causes multi-organ damage, heart attacks, strokes, etc.
"i'm vaccinated!" is not an excuse. vaccine immunity wanes. we also know this. covid is constantly evolving. it's worse than ever. the vaccines we have aren't as effective. a vaccine only approach is insufficient. masks - N95 respirators - are effective & variant proof
taylor - and any big artists touring rn - could literally just tell their fans to mask up (aka practice basic community care & mitigations in an ongoing pandemic of an airborne virus causing a deadly disabling disease that we're all vulnerable to). she's not. she's complicit.
her fans literally worship her. i've seen how swifties defend this woman. it's concerning how they excuse her behaviors. anyway. a simple message - or hell even easter eggs! i hear she has lots of those - to her fans to test prior, stay home if sick, and wear a mask would help
i need you guys to consider the ppl who live in the cities big artists tour. they're the ones that have to share public transport w/ unmasked crowds of concert attendees who just came from a superspreader event. & pls consider the chain of transmission & give a shit about others
your life and long term health isn't worth temporary pleasure. you know what? it might be for *you* but not the people around you who don't consent to being infected with an airborne virus that could literally disable or kill them.
wear masks consistently in public. the pandemic is ongoing. it doesn't have to be this way. you don't have to be complicit in the spread of a deadly disabling disease. you're not invulnerable. it's airborne. we share the air. give a shit. be actively anti-ableist. mask up.

shoutout to the disabled people who called me "germphobic"/"virtue signaling"/"martyr"/"paranoid"/"fear mongering"!

congrats! you're laterally ableist! fearmongering with what? facts? sorry you can't accept reality & adapt, but facts aren't attacks.
i'm just now realizing that anyone who has ever said that to me IRL was white. yikes! i know you guys noticed this too, but as always - everywhere i go, whites are the least likely to be masked. BIPOC are the most impacted and we're always the ones i see still masking.
*germaphobic - typo!

i know you don't even wash your hands after using the restroom

we're in an ongoing pandemic of an airborne deadly disabling disease that we're all vulnerable to, vaccinated or not. wearing respirators (N95s) minimize risk by preventing its spread. argue in my mentions or IRL all you want, facts aren't attacks & science doesn't care. mask up!
to all the anti-maskers, anti-vaxxers, minimizers, denialists, & your kind — ok. don't wear masks or get vaccinated. die then. remain complicit in the preventable spread of a deadly, disabling disease. but you're not just killing yourselves, you're taking other people with you.
i know that crowd is gonna find my tweets again. i can't block all of them.

a message for you: die then. die mad about it. *shrug*

we're gonna keep protecting ourselves and those around us. you won't do that & we can't convince you. ok. cool! die then. or enjoy long covid! bye

for when i say not masking is racist:

- BIPOC are the worst impacted in this pandemic
- the majority of the very few people i see still wearing masks are BIPOC
- Asian countries have been wearing masks during flu seasons pre-2020
- increase of anti-Asian hate/violence
once again and always - white people, you do not get to say what is or isn't racist. stop speaking for and over BIPOC. learn your place, sit down, shut up, and listen to us.

your white saviorism is killing us. whiteness is a problem. oof.

(read & listen to James Baldwin! <3)
if what i'm saying still isn't clicking for you... oof. educate yourselves. your ignorance is showing.

don't even get me started on white fragility... i have a lot to say. i'm sure i have a few tweets on that. lol. anyway...

please stop telling me you care about me & that you worry about me & then calling me anxious/germaphobic & dismissing me when i bring up my concerns about the ongoing airborne pandemic of a deadly disabling disease & suggesting i try therapy </3 thank you
i was diagnosed with depression & anxiety in high school. i was on meds & went to therapy for years. it's not that.

perhaps my very real and valid fears about the pandemic isn't anxiety. it's a reasonable response to plagues & you pretending it's not there while more suffer
you cannot gaslight me into believing it's an endemic or mild or i'll be fine since i just had it. i know better. get your booster if you can, but always mask up. it's our best defense to protect ourselves and those around us. but you don't seem interested in preventing disease

just got lectured about diversity & inclusion. seems a bit hypocritical when you're excluding your most vulnerable immunocompromised & disabled staff & students due to lack of covid safety measures. care is a verb. you keep saying you care, but won't even wear a mask. lol ok sure
absolute bullshiterry and fuckery. i avoid those who have dismissed, belittled, and attempted to gaslight me. begging people to care is impossible. best we can do is keep protecting ourselves & hope we don't get sick (again). i see you, please keep masking even if you're alone
bro we don't want to get sick and we don't want more people to get sick, become disabled, and die. why is this so fucking hard? no sense of self-preservation, no health, no care. we can prevent more sickness and death. why won't you? *ughhhhh*
