i cant exhaustively explain why this is very funny in a tweet because there is far too much to discuss

i bet a significant fraction of young ppls desire to express divergent genders is simply an attempt to gain some social sanction to control in ANY direction the manner in which they are regarded sexually and that this stems from their discomfort w/ others perceiving them sexually Image

actually this is kind of amusing and puts a rumored gen z neurosis in context

openly commenting about people being attractive used to be an accepted practice and now it feels pretty taboo esp for female public figures
so now its not only like you cant say "im thinking about fucking so and so" but even "i find this person to be pleasant to look at" is kind of tawdry or déclassé at best

and now maybe the kids are getting fucked up about this in themselves
and this is hilarious because afaict bimbos (all genders) continue to be hired to read the news and act in movies and were just not even allowed to mention that theyre bimbos or experience them as such
