Savarkar's staunch supporter & associate Pandurang Mahadev Bapat, popularly known as Senapati Bapat was sent to Paris inorder to learn bomb making..(1/n)
He succeeded in getting those Bomb manuals and sent them to Hemchandra Das, Abbas Mirza (who was a friend of Savarkar) and Savarkar himself. (2/n)
Archive evidence showing connection between Bapat, Hemchandra Das, Abbas Mirza and Ghosh brothers (Aurobindo & Barinder Kumar Ghosh)
(3/n)
Hemchandra returned to Calcutta to his comrades Barin Ghose and Aurobindo Ghose, and began utilizing the manual for manufacturing bombs across Bengal. Their activity led to the famous Alipore Bomb Case, or the 'Maniktala Bomb Conspiracy'.
(4/n)
It was masterminded by Aurobindo Ghose, his brother Barin Ghose and many young revolutionaries of the secret society Anushilan Samiti. (5/n)
A 19-year-old Bengali member of the society, Khudiram threw a bomb into a carriage carrying two Englishwomen, mistaking it to be that of Calcutta magistrate Douglas Kingsford. Khudiram was later hanged. (6/n)
The copy of bomb manual brought by Mr. Bapat and draft of violent esaay praising various Bengal revolutionaries was found in Babarao's(Savarkar 's elder brother) house in a search conducted by British in 1909.

And there is no direct evidence of Khudiram Bose being inspired by Savarkar as in the case of Bhagat Singh, whose literature works proves the fact. Revolutionary activities are connected, and the question is whether you can give the 'inspiration' angle to it ?? (8/8)

After the conquest of sindh, Arabs came in contact with indian scientific culture. Al-Biruni traveled widely in India in the early 11th century, thus his work has became the main source of knowledge about scientific transfer.
Since Sindh was under the rule of Caliph Mansur (753-774 AD), many scholars from the Sindh part of India came to Baghdad, along with books.
Alfazari and Yaqub Ibn Tariq translated them with the help of these scholars. Brahmagupta's works had a great influence on the Arab world.
Al-Biruni discusses the Indian astronomical theories of Aryabhata, Brahmagupta and Varahamihira.

The story of a women called 'nangeli' and her bravery about cutting breasts against breast tax system has now become a mainstream historical discussion in many platforms.
Unfortunately, all the references to the story are from 10 years and could be attributed to one person, a painter Murali T. whose nom de plume is Chitrakaran.
Unfortunately, nobody ever bothers to cross check the story. google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.…
The story appears for the first time in written form in the year 2000 in the book A social history of India by S.N.Sadashivan. It does not contain the name Nangeli or year of event. Those are the imaginations of many who moulded this story after 2000. books.google.co.in/books?redir_es…
It is illogical to say that Netaji was directly inspired by Savarkar. In fact, sometimes he has criticized Savarkar. But it is a blatant lie that Savarkar Betrayed Netaji & INA by siding with the British. So these 2 extremes are false. The truth lies in between these extremes.(1/n)
It is sad that people widely share an article written by some closet Islamists like Shamsul Islam to defame Savarkar. The writer criticizes the militarisation policy of Savarkar & Mahasabha and accuses that it was to fight against Bose with the cooperation of the British.(2/n)
Yes Savarkar supported Hindu militarisation.
From his own words.. 👇
Please note terms like Civil war, Constitutional crisis and armed revolution.

The claim that it was written by Savarkar himself comes from the second publisher of the book, Dr. Ravindra Ramdas. No references were provided by him in preface to support the statement. It was definitely a very unusual statement to make 60 years after 1st edition published.(2)
The 1st edition was published by G. Paul & co publication, Madras's. It's preface was different & the 2nd edition in 1986 which is published by Ramdas has different preface which without any reference claims that chitragupta was Savarkar(3) @HistoryCell
