I would like to congratulate the fellow faculty who weathered Dick Cockring's quite literal tantrum in yesterday's meeting. Such professionalism in the doughy face of a spoiled child in full meltdown is the mark of maturity. As Twain said: "Never argue w/ an idiot...." Great job!

3/ Leading from the front, his rhetoric and brilliance the exemplar incarnate of why soft white appointees should be entrusted with leadership over a quorum of experts who work for a living, Dick screamed at our one woman and labeled men moving elsewhere, assholes. Yes, really.

4/ Lipinsky and Hillegass are "assholes" for giving Dick "no notice" that they would not abet his Great White Hope for using their actual credentials to flatter himself. It was insane, dangerously insane, to watch such supremacy and entitlement in action.

5/ The facts, for we who value such things, are that both professionals provided months of notice, continue to work meantime, and are not assholes in the least. Who was it who ACTUALLY provided a whole community zero notice in their shock-and-awe campaign? Oh, right. Dick's Govt.

6/ Such rage can only be explained if you consider people to be static THINGS. Dick stole the toybox and expected all the most valuable toys to stay put to be played with. Imagine how it cracks his worldview, to learn other humans have thoughts and choice...

7/ ...and hurts DickCock's fee-fees that even white men, even smart men, even rich men with CV's so much longer and stronger than Dick's, might have consciences and hearts just as large as their accolades. And CHOSE to give up $$ elsewhere in FAVOR of collaborating w/ mentees!

8/ DickCock's rage yesterday reveals he expected all white males would naturally hold his same thoughts: that grift is great, power is the goal, supporting students in THEIR curiosity is shameful, and Dick's vision of a mayo-themed cast of conquerors is palatable to all. Clown.

11/ I felt the most badly for Dr. Reid. As the sole woman "leaning in" at that table, she is subject to such a level of livid rage simply for existing as would shame any man of character. Dick's contempt instantly affirmed how essential #MeToo and #SheSaid and Sandberg still are.

12/ Re: 5. "Insubordination" by the rest of us. Dick really believed. No, I mean REALLY believed. That obedience from all others would naturally and instantly derive from his installation on the throne of his betters. His confusion as to why this is not so is pure clown shoes.

21/ 3. Though the FL bought-off intermediary is stonewalling (the local evaluator of SACSOC violations is refusing, as yet, to accept complaints, much less pass them up the chain to HQ in Decatur, GA). It's evident that CockRing's railroading of our curricula is direct violation.

22/ 3. As soon as SACSOC formally recognizes that DickCock has torpedoed our Honors curricula, in a manner that violates process, in a result that conflates religious, educational, and state power, they will have to drop us down into review/audit status. Embarrassing!

23/ 3. More than that: remember that Team Gov't Takeover CANNOT CHANGE ACCREDITORS while in probationary status from their current accreditor. So "fuck SACSOC" because if they "Bob Allen Bravely" actually do their jobs, DickCock will have to...maintain high standards. For years.
