I’m going to do a thread and limit replies. You’ll see why. Please do not speculate with names. But I think what is happening to me is important. I am not prohibited from talking about things in general terms.

On Monday afternoon my solicitor received a bizarre communication from Surrey police solicitors. He thought it had to do with my civil claim against them.

After some miscommunication, they sent through a bundle for a court hearing.

I am due in court tomorrow morning.

The police asked that “physical paperwork” relating to the court hearing against me in 2 days, was withheld from me.

They wanted me to go to a court hearing without access to the accusations and alleged evidence.

Surrey police have applied for a stalking protection order as a result of material I have posted on Twitter.

On page 1 of the bundle repeated misgendering is cited.

Here are the prohibitions they are seeking tomorrow morning.

I will be assigned an “offender manager”.

I will not be allowed to use any Social Media, Social Networking, Gaming, Dating (lol) site without this person’s written permission and having supplied them with usernames and passwords for all sites within 3 days.

Cited: The Oxford English Dictionary defines Social Media “websites and software programs used for social networking” and Social Networking as “the use of dedicated websites and applications to interact with other users, or to find people with similar interests to one’s own”

Accessing or using any social media or chat site or chat application, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp or Instagram; unless approved in writing by your Offender Manager & you have provided the user name, linked email address and passwords to your Offender… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

Having a personal email or social networking account (including accounts set up for the purpose of engaging in online chat with others) without supplying your Offender Manager a username within three days of this order being granted or within three days of and supplying any… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

I will be prohibited from using any device or computer capable of accessing the internet unless;

i) you have notified your police managing officer of the possession/acquisition of any such device prior to its use, and

iii) It has the capacity to retain and display the history of internet use which includes but is not limited to internet messaging applications such as WhatsApp, and you do not delete such history or engage any function such as ‘private’ or ‘incognito mode’ browsing which… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

iv) You are able to make the computer/device immediately available on request for inspection which will include the review of any communications data, by a police officer or a member of the police managing team which shall include removal of the device in order to facilitate the… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

In addition the following requirements are added:

1. Allow Police Officers to enter your registered address(es), between the hours of 8am and 8pm, to conduct a risk assessment, monitor devices, and manage compliance of the order

2. Provide your Offender Manager with any mobile, digital, or internet enabled devices for examination, review, and monitoring purposes, immediately upon request. 3. Re-register home address every 12 months at a Police Station (within 365 days of last registration)

4. Provide your Offender Manager with list of all mobile, digital, or internet enabled devices that you own or have access to use. The list must be provided within three days of the order being granted or within three days of any changes

The police officer says this:

I believe that while presenting a significant interference with the respondent’s privacy rights, it is an appropriate course of action in the circumstances.

“I consider that in accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 8 of HRA, an interference by this force as a public authority is in accordance with the law and is necessary.”

I appreciate that highlighting this presents a risk.

But I believe this is also an outrageous course of events and a matter of public interest.

I was given 2 days to find counsel and brief them.

It is likely that this will be heard by a panel of magistrates tomorrow with not much time to go into the issues and read through both sides’ submissions. It will therefore be granted.

The magistrates will be advised and given that Surrey police are pushing for it, will likely grant it.

Their thinking will be, surely it must be necessary otherwise the police wouldn’t ask.

Tomorrow will be an interim hearing. We will push back but there will be another, second hearing about a permanent order in 28 days time or thereabouts.

This is all to do with things I, and in some cases other people, have said on Twitter.

I am being treated like a terrorist.

There’s a lot more I want to say, having read through 75 pages of “evidence” which has been taken at face value.

All messages, to my husband, my children, my friends, my family will be monitored. All my emails read and my browsing history read.

The police can enter my home at any time to check.

This will devastate my life. And I am not even convicted or even charged with anything yet.
