bkdk trying to coparent after a divorce, but they're still madly in love with eachother. the both of them are just too scared to admit it.
---
izuku's sweet 6-year-old daughter shiori has been acting weird lately. she's mellow, quiet-- opposite from the usual.
after completing a round of editing of the new release of his small publishing company one night, he makes his way to shiori's room.

he expected her to be asleep, but she was wide awake with a sullen look on her face.
"my little girl, whats wrong?" izuku asks gently, pushing her green curls back.

shiori only frowns and turns away from izuku. he has to ignore the way she looked so much like katsuki right now.

"you guys don't like me anymore." shiori mumbles. "always busy."
izuku fights the ache in his chest. after launching his small press, he's been hounded in work-- theres no denying that.

"i'm so sorry, baby, i--"

"you don't say g'night to me anymore..." shiori sniffles, voice wobbly, "and daddy doesn't call me!"
izuku slides into bed with his daughter, holding her close as he slides the sheets up to cover themselves. shiori is crying, and izuku can't do anything but run his fingers through her wild hair.

"me and daddy are busy because we work, shiori. we work to give you everything."
he sighs. then, his brows furrow. "when was the last time daddy called you?"

"i dunno." shiori rolls off the bed, padding over to her backpack hanging by the door and coming back with the small flip phone izuki had gifted her.
izuku is quick to flip it open, anger building up in his chest. how could katsuki not call his daughter? and then, he felt guilty for not noticing-- katsuki used to call shiori everyday.

shiori slides back into bed with her dad, this time clinging to izuku and nuzzling into his
embrace.
izuku has to bite his tongue when he sees that katsuki hasn't called in a week. the call logs show that the calls havent lasted more than a few minutes recently-- showing a stark difference to the calls that would go hours on end.
"i'm sure he has a reason, baby." izuku snaps the phone shut, deciding it was best to focus on his daughter and ignore the rage weighing in his chest.

shiori doesn't say anything. instead, she is lulled to sleep by izuku's warmth and scent of lavender and milk.
and izuku holds her that night, a heavy feeling in his chest.

but he was going to get to the bottom of this. katsuki may have divorced izuku, but he was still shiori's father.
---
in the year since their divorce, katsuki has slowly climbed the latter at the fashion magazine he worked at. the last thing izuku heard about katsuki is that he had become one of the main fashion authorities.
izuku felt shabby walking into the building with his plain department store clothes and old brown coat. everyone around him was runway-ready.
izuku shook his head-- now was not the time to wallow about his lack of fashion sense, he needed to talk to katsuki.

he scurried over to the front desk. he ignored the way the lady judgementally looked him up and down. "i need to speak with bakugou katsuki."
"and you are?" the receptionist asked, scent turning sour in annoyance.

"his husband." he blurted out without thinking. he felt his cheeks burn up. god, even a year later he can't bring himself to say 'ex-husband.' "well, i mean, i was his husband, but i really need to
talk to him about-"

but receptionist had already dialed someone. "someone inform mr. bakugou that someone claiming to be his husband is here to see him."

izuku was thankful that he wore scent-blockers, or else the whole lobby would have smelled his embarrassment.
after a few momenents, the receptionist hanged the phone and went back to boring her time into the computer. "go to the thirteenth floor. he's in the middle of an assessment, so try not to be a distraction."

izuku thanked her quietly and scurried to the nearest elevator,
concious of his appearance. he should've wore something nicer, maybe the clothes katsuki bought him.

no, he thought to himself, he didn't came to impress anyone. he came to find out why katsuki has been ignoring their daughter.
however, he still straightened up his appearance in the elevator.

everyone on the thirteenth floor seemed tense. people were running around, biting their fingers raw, and looked like the world was gonna end.

"where's bakugou katsuki?" he asked the nearest person.
"trying not to get fired hopefully." was all the distressed alpha replied before walking away.

that wasn't helpful. izuku ventured into the floor, fiddling with his hands as he looked for his ex-husband.

he would be lying if he said he wasn't nervous. even if he was
angry, his omega keened knowing that izuku would meet katsuki soon.

since their divorce, izuku did see him a couple of times. but that was with shiori around, when izuku had to put on the act of a father and ignore the fact that all he wanted was to fall to his knees and beg
katsuki to be with him again.

god, he was miserable.

izuku rounded a corner-- and thats when he saw him. clad in a burgundy turtleneck and black slacks, izuku could never get over how good katsuki could make a simple outfit look. katsuki's face was hard and he looked angry--
but izuku's heart fluttered like the first time they met as kids.

izuku took a step forward, but stopped immediately when a beautiful woman came up from behind katsuki.

her hand rested gently on his shoulder, and she was much too close for the omega's liking. izuku
hoped katsuki would brush her off.

but instead, he smiled at her.

this was a mistake, izuku thought to himself. he turned and began walking away, feeling shame and hurt and anger all at the same time.

but then-- shiori. he was here for shiori. what he felt didn't matter, he
he was here to set things right for his daughter.

and he turned right around, marching back to katsuki. the blonde was still with the woman, quietly chatting about something. but izuku didn't care.

"katsuki." izuku called out, immediately catching katsuki's attention.
the blonde motioned the woman to go away, his eyes trained on the green-haired omega. "izuku, whats wrong?"

izuku narrowed his eyes at him. "whats wrong? are you kidding me?"

katsuki sighed and guided izuku into the nearest room. "izuku, you can't just show up and start--"
"why are you ignoring my daughter?" izuku pressured, "explain that to me, bakugou."

izuku couldn't make out the expression on katsuki's face, but katsuki's scent soured in annoyance. that of course only made izuku more upset.
"she's my daughter too." katsuki
said through grit teeth.

"then why don't you act like it?" izuku pushed, "you haven't called her in a week!"

katsuki sighed and ran a hand down his face. "i've been busy--"

"you didn't look busy right now with that woman." izuku blurted.
shit, shit, shit, izuku couldn't believe he said that. "shiori waits for your call everyday, and i can't stand seeing her look so down all the time-- you know, she needs you too, but you don't see her all the time so the least you can do--"

"and who's fault is that?" katsuki
growled, rendering izuku speechless.

tears prickled at the greenettes eyes. and before he could think, izuku slapped katsuki across the face.

"/you/ divorced /me/." the omega seethed, voice much too wobbly for his liking.
katsuki didn't say anything. and before a sob could escape izuku's lips, he hurried out of the room.

katsuki only stood there in silence.

his cheek stung. katsuki knew he couldn't complain. the alpha's hands balled in his hair as he took a seat in the nearest chair. and his mind raced with thoughts full of izuku.

"fucking idiot." he groaned.
katsuki had no right to blame izuku for the divorce. after all, it was the alpha who had suggested it at first in a fit of his selfishness.

no one saw their divorce coming. it was a running joke that katsuki didn't have to bite izuku to mate--
their souls had already belonged to each other since they were kids.

and the marriage was perfect. izuku birthed the most beautiful pup. he supported katsuki in everything he did.

"mr. bakugou!" someone barged into the room, "the sir, he's arrived and he's looking--"
"i'll be right there, just give me a damn minute." he rasped out.

right. katsuki left izuku for all of this.

he was getting ambitious. he didn't want to be some intern at his company-- he wanted to be the real deal. bakugou katsuki had the potential to become editor
in chief at his company's fashion magazine.

so he worked late nights, sometimes he didn't come home for days. he knew it was taking a toll on his family.

but katsuki was katsuki. you'd think he'd grow out of his brash nature.
he still remembers the night he found izuku waiting for him at the kitchen table, eyes blood shot and scent sour.

"you promised me that you'd take a break." izuku whined.

katsuki shrugged off his coat. "i can't."
"not even for your family?" izuku asked in disbelief.
"if it makes you so miserable, then leave." katsuki said coldly.

but izuku didn't leave. even if it hurt him, katsuki knew the omega would blindly follow him just like he did when they were kids.

so katsuki did it for him. he was the one who left.
the clatter and frenzy from the hallway outside knocked katsuki out from his thoughts. he quickly fixed his appearance-- he knew that the editor in chief would chew him out for his lousy appearance.

and katsuki tried to get the pretty greenette out of his mind.
he's tried for a year, but even through all his guilt and his selfishness, he still loved izuku.

izuku should have slapped him some more.

--
that night, shiori and izuku huddled on the couch together as they read one of yagi toshinori's famous children's books.

"why don't you write a book, papa?" shiori asks, looking at izuku with her beautiful emerald eyes.

"takes too much time." izuku chuckled,
"after all, i like reading books more. and if i can help people publish their books, that's even better!"

shiori pouts. "papa doesn't do much for himself."

izuku's smile falters.
the chime of shiori's phone sounds throughout their small apartment. the pup bolts from the couch, leaving izuku to think for himself.

"daddy!" shiori squeals, her small feet quickly padding back to the living room. she sits next to izuku again, looking more happy than ever.
"papa, its daddy!"

izuku forces a smile. and he sits there quietly, listening to his daughter chirp excitedly on the phone with katsuki.

"what did i eat? papa made katsudon, it was delicious!"
maybe it was izuku's wishful thinking, but he hears katsuki say 'i wish i was there to try it' over the phone.

shiori has always been a smart kid.

she knew that her fathers living in separate homes meant that they weren't together. 'divorced', that's what that meant.

"my mom says that my dad is a no good son of a bitch." her classmate says during playtime one day.
so naturally shiori thought that getting divorced meant that her fathers didn't love eachother anymore. they should hate eachother.

so why does izuku keep wearing his wedding ring? and why does katsuki sometimes get quiet and stare at a picture of izuku?
shiori knows that her fathers still love eachother. what she can't understand is why they're divorced.
--
"daddy, why do you live alone?" the little girl asks as she shoves a mouthful of tiramisu cake into her mouth.

katsuki gently dabs at the corner of her mouth with a napkin.
sometimes shiori stays with her papa, other times she stays with daddy. they take turns.

the blonde looks around his studio. its nicer than where izuku lives. he doesn't answer.

"me and papa should live with you." shiori chirps, holding a spoonful of cake to the alpha's mouth.
"ahh!"

shiori doesn't know what the face on her daddy's face means.

"i don't think your papa would want that." katsuki murmurs. he eats the cake anyway.

the pup knows that isn't true.

katsuki clears his throat and clears the table. he leaves shiori sitting alone while he
washes dishes.

alone, alone. shiori hates to admit it, but she doesn't like visiting katsuki's place all that much. it was too lonely.

"did you divorce papa because you hate him?"

"no." katsuki answers quickly.
shiori pouts. this was too confusing. adults were too confusing.

she hopes she never grows up. she hopes that she'll never get married.
--
when katsuki drops shiori back at izuku's place, the exchange was awkward.
izuku cradles a sleeping shiori in his arms as katsuki settles the pup's things back in her room. the alpha looks like he's in a hurry.

of course, izuku thinks, katsuki probably isn't trilled to be around the omega.

izuku ignores the lump in his throat.
then the omega tries to get up from the couch, wanting to put shiori to bed. but katsuki is quick to ease him back into the couch.

"you'll hurt yourself." he whispers, carefully lifting shiori from izuku's arms.
izuku watches katsuki walk into shiori's room and tuck her into bed. even through the darkness he can see katsuki kiss the top of her head.

the omega can't help the way his heart flutters.

the blonde emerges from the room,
shoulders tense and hands tucked into the pockets of his slacks. his face looks like he has a million things to say.

"thank you, kaccha--"

"i'm sorry."

izuku fiddles with the hem of his cardigan as heat rises up his neck.
"for the other day." katsuki clarifies. "i shouldn't have said that to you."

izuku hums, unsure of what to say.

"i don't forgive you." he says after a moment of silence. he really hopes that the dim light of the living room hide the fact that there's tears forming in his eyes.
katsuki hesitates. his mouth opens, but no words come out. izuku really hates the fact that he's a cry baby because now there's tears streaming down his face.

and he doesn't understand why katsuki kneels in front of him-- wiping the omega's tears knowing
that he's the cause of them.

when katsuki finally leaves, he closes the door behind him quietly. and izuku decides to sleep on the couch that night because katsuki's scent lingers there.

omg thank you all for the support! i didn't expect this much attention 🥹❤️❤️ i hope you are all enjoying!!

there will be some changes in the story soon.... 🫢🫢
#bkdk
"we'll end the meeting here, because /someone/ is clearly not paying attention."

katsuki snaps out of his thoughts. his mind was preoccupied with the image of izuku crying, and the many 'what-ifs' of what katsuki could have done differently.
the planning room was empty-- with the exception of katsuki and his editor in chief, hakamada tsunagu.

tsunagu tuts in disapproval. "what has your mind so busy?"

"my pup... and my omega." katsuki says, gathering his things.
"distractions." tsunagu sighs.

katsuki has to bite his tongue.

"you have all the potential to be where i'm at. you're talented, katsuki." tsunagu shakes his head. "but to get to this position, you know you can't have distractions."
katsuki lets the silence linger. "if you're done, i'd like to enjoy my lunch break."

the alpha stomps out of the room, cursing under his breath the whole way to his office.

"after all i've given..." katsuki grumbles, fishing his wallet from his desk, "i'm not allowed to think
about my family for a fucking second."

'if it makes you so miserable, then leave.'

the words katsuki told izuku ring in his ears. he takes a seat at his desk, suddenly losing his apetite.

katsuki loved his work. he knows anyone would kill for this position,
but there are times when he questions if everything was worth it.

he hates coming home to a quiet home. before, izuku would wait up for him and greet him at the door. he had someone to come home to.

now he had no one waiting for him. izuku hated him.
and katsuki can't stop thinking about the greenette. he wonders if he cries often, if he's hurting. izuku was always the type to bottle things up and suffer alone.

katsuki knows that he doesn't deserve to know.

---

izuku nervously chews on his lip.
shiori's birthday is this weekend, and he had already asked the pup what she wanted for her birthday.

"dinner with papa and daddy." she beamed.

izuku stares at katsuki's phone number, unsure if he should call.
outside of trading shiori for the weekends, he doesn't contact the alpha at all.

he doesn't even have the guts to call him after crying in front of the blonde the other night.

but shiori was important.
izuku can suck up any feelings he has for katsuki just for a dinner, thats the least he can do for his little girl.

the omega holds his breath as he dials the number. katsuki doesn't answer.

izuku sighs and nearly sets the phone-- until 'shiori's dad' flashes onto the screen.
"midoriya speaking!" izuku answers, nearly curling up in embarrassment.

"izuku?" katsuki sounds worried. "did something happen, are you alright?"

izuku laughs sheepishly. "everything's alright... is this a bad time to call you?"
he hears shuffling from the other end of the call, katsuki barking incoherent orders. he was definitely busy. "no, not at all."

izuku can't help but feel giddy.

"um, shiori's birthday is this weekend..." the omega's face flares up in embarrassment,
"and i was hoping you can come over for dinner."

the phone goes silent. izuku checked to make sure the call didn't accidentally end. then he starts to panic; did he sound eager? is katsuki repulsed?
"i, i mean, shiori really wants to have dinner with the two of us, and i understand if you're uncomfortable but we should try--"

"i'd love to come over for dinner." katsuki interrupts with a gentle laugh.

now it was izuku's turn to be speechless.
god, he was still in love with him.

the omega clears his throat. "is 5:30 good for you?"

"perfect." katsuki replies.

the call falls into a comfortable silence. that was the most normal conversation the two had in forever. izuku can't help but feel hopeful.
he knows he shouldn't. he can hear katsuki clear his throat on the other end of his call. "i should get back to work..."

izuku nods as if katsuki could see him. the call still lingers, neither izuku and katsuki wanting to hang up.
"i miss you." izuku blurts-- completely lost in the moment.

"what?"

the omega hangs up. he feels like he could suffocate from humiliation.

katsuki calls once. twice. the third time, he gives up on the third ring. izuku can only watch the screen with terror.

"you should have picked up." he heard someone grumble from beside him.

izuku looks over at his only employee, todoroki shouto, who
looks like he's judging him with every inch of his life.

"you heard everything."

"i am quite literally right next to you." shouto scoffs. "we might as well rename the press 'pathetic divorced omegas publishing co.'"

izuku winces. "i can't believe i told him that."
"it's okay. i've told my ex-husband that at least a hundred times. one could say i have experience." shouto comforts. the serious tone of the omega's voice only makes izuku laugh.

izuku met shouto through a friend, and the two omegas immediately bonded.
they were both divorced and still completely head over heels for the alphas that left them.

"i know i should move on." izuku sighed, trying to focus back on the manuscript he was reading before calling katsuki. "but i can't."
shouto hums. "then don't. its not too late to get back with him."

izuku rolls his eyes. "people divorce for a reason. he doesn't want me."

saying those words outloud almost makes izuku cry.
"i know something you don't." shouto whispers.

izuku slams his laptop closed. he gets up to look through a pile of papers stacked near the printer of his office-- perhaps he'll be able to focus on something else.
"listen, you have two options izuku." shouto says nonchalantly, "you either get back with katsuki, or find yourself another alpha. or beta. even an omega works."

izuku narrows his eyes at shouto.
the other omega avoids his gaze, but izuku notices the faint blush on shouto's cheeks. he gasps.

"you met someone else!" izuku acuses.

shouto hides his face behind a folder. "we are talking about you and katsuki right now."
"you totally did!" izuku hurries to shouto's side, trying to wrestle the folder out of his hands. "who is it?"

shouto lets out a shy laugh. he immediately spills, and izuku listens intently.

izuku was glad that atleast one of them found happiness.

---
katsuki looks feral in the days leading up to his daughters birthday.

everyone has to walk on egg shells around him. even the smallest mistake will send someone running out of his office with tears in their eyes.
"pass me the chanel skirt. and a belt, this outfit needs a belt." katsuki gruffs during an evaluation. the interns around him look like deer caught in headlights. "well?"

they all go flying. they're pulling items out of boxes and unraveling belts of different kinds.
a minute too long passes. katsuki still doesn't have a skirt nor a belt in his hands. the model looks like she's gonna shit herself from the alpha's intense hormones.

the blonde lets out a frustrated sigh and runs a hand down his face. "why is no one fucking ready?"
before he can lash out again, he sends everyone out with a simple wave of his hand. the room is empty within seconds.

he hears a mocking clap of hands. it's tsunagu.

"someone's in a hurry." his boss points out, looking at the racks of clothing organized throughout the studio.
katsuki nods. "i need everything done by tonight."

tsunagu flashes a sly smile that annoys katsuki to the core. "and why's that?"

"it's my pup's birthday tomorrow." katsuki says through his teeth. "and my omega invited me over for dinner."

"your ex-husband." tsunagu clarifies.
"stop growling at me, you look unsightly."

katsuki stops the rumbling in his chest.

"you are supposed to go to south korea with the editorial team tomorrow." tsunagu mentions after a moment of silence.

"camie can go. she's just as good." katsuki responds with a
challenging glint in his eyes.

tsunagu tuts in disaproval. "i've spoiled you enough, katsuki. you're too old to be throwing tantrums."

"i've sacrificed a lot of things for you." katsuki scoffs.
"my marriage, my family. that least you can do is let me spend one night to celebrate my daughter's birthday."

tsunagu doesn't care. no wonder the shit is going onto his 5th divorce, katsuki thinks.
"fine, katsuki." his boss sighs in defeat.

"i can't stop you. but do know that if you don't go on the trip, i /will/ fire you."

---

"fire me?" katsuki asks in disbelief.

tsunagu nods. "you take your position for granted. people would kill to be in your place."

katsuki narrows his eyes to catch tsunagu's bluff. but his boss is 100% serious.
"you're kidding me." katsuki scoffs.

tsunagu doesn't spare katsuki another glance when we strides out the room.

---

izuku is awoken by the sound of his phone vibrating on his nightstand. he wonders who would even call him this late at night.
"midoriya speaking." he mumbles sleepily.

theres a pause, like the person is trying to catch their breath.

"izuku."

izuku bolts upright. "kacchan? are you okay?"

"i really, really..." izuku hears katsuki's breath shudder. "want to see you right now."
the omega feels his heart beat in his ears.

"where are you?" izuku worries, hopping out of bed to look for his car keys. "wait, i need to find someone to watch over shiori, oh my god, kacchan please tell me you're okay--"

"i'm outside your door."
izuku's face burns with embarrassment. he hangs up the phone and quickly pads over to the front door. he doesn't waste a single moment to swing it open.

it's freezing outside, and katsuki only has a thin coat to keep him warm. izuku quickly ushers him inside.
the omega doesn't know what to say in front of katsuki. his senses are full katsuki's cinnamon pheromones, and the faint smell of alcohol.

izuku can't make out katsuki's expression in the dark. he knew that the alpha's silence was never good.
suddenly, izuku was wrapped in katsuki's arms. the embrace isn't tight and he feels the alpha's hand gently caress his hair-- as if the alpha was treasuring him, treating him like he was fragile.

"i miss you." the alpha mumurs, nuzzling his fair into izuku's hair.
he sounds genuine, and the omega can't help but feel hopeful.

until the scent of alcohol hits him again.

izuku shakes head, pushing the alpha away. "don't do this to me."

the greenette grabs katsuki by the arm, pulling him towards the couch. he forces the alpha to sit there.
"i'll let you stay the night." izuku rasps, trying to control the shake of his voice. "but you have to leave before shiori wakes up."

"izuku, listen--"

izuku helps katsuki out of his coat, and yanks off the shoes that the alpha forgot to take off before entering izuku's home.
"no. you're drunk."

katsuki grabs izuku's hands in his. "i got fired."

the omega stills. he knew how much work the alpha poured into his company for the last 4 years.

"i should have done this a long time ago, but i chose you." the alpha continues.
"you and shiori. god, i should have chose you two in the beginning."

izuku purses his lips. "i'm sorry you lost your job."

the greenette lets go of katsuki's hands. he makes his way back to his room, leaving katsuki on the couch.
theres a loud thud. izuku turns on the lights, just to see his ex-husband on the floor struggling to get up.

"i know i don't deserve you." the blonde slurs. "i know you don't want to see me, and that you hate me. you should hate me-"

izuku feels so frustrated that he could die.
"you don't know what i want, katsuki."

katsuki shuts his rambling. he sits on his knees, nervously looking up at izuku. in another circumstance, the omega would have thought the alpha looked cute.

"i wanted to be with you, to be by your side." the omega hears himself whine.
"i didn't want a divorce. even if it hurt, i wanted to support you. you know i would follow you everywhere."

katsuki only listens.

"you wanted the divorce. you left me." izuku acuses. "and you're right! i should hate you. but even after everything... i still love you."
the omega wipes away his own tears away. he feels pathetic.

izuku retreats to his room, slamming the door behind him. he's ready to stuff his face into a pillow and cry to his heart's content.

the door opens quietly. and theres a shuffle of feet. the bed sinks from extra weight
"i divorced you out of my own selfishness. there's nothing i can do to take it back. i regret it everyday." he hears katsuki say.

izuku refuses to look at him.

"never once did i stop loving you, izuku." katsuki admits. "i think of you everyday. i wondered if
sacrificing you was worth it... and it wasn't."

the omega is full on sobbing into his pillow. katsuki can only rub his back.

"27 years down the drain for a stupid job that doesn't even appreciate you." izuku cries, voice muffled through the pillow. "i hate you, katsuki.
i hate you."

there's no malice behind izuku's words, but katsuki's still heart clenches.

the omega's bed is small and cramped. katsuki lies down next to izuku, not caring if half his body and feet are hanging off the bed.

"i don't have the right to ask this of you, but please
give me a second chance." he begs. katsuki runs his hands through izuku's hair, pumping out his own pheromones to calm him down. "just one more chance."

the night is quiet, except for the sound of two hearts beating.
---
shiori wakes up early that morning, excited to turn five
years old.

izuku told her that he would make pancakes for breakfast. but the apartment smells of something else, not pancakes.

she ventures out of her room. usually at this time her dad is up, but the apartment is quiet. too quiet.

"papa?" shiori calls out, padding to izuku's
room.

when she opens the door, she has to cover her nose. the room was heavy with pheromones, the smell of spices and cinnamon overwhelming her small nose.

but she knew that scent from anywhere.

izuku was still sound asleep, wrapped up in the arms of katsuki.
the two looked peaceful.

shiori opens the window to izuku's room, trying her best to fan out the smell. then she crawls into izuku's bed, situating herself between her fathers. she can't control the smile on her face.
"best birthday ever." she murmurs to herself before being lulled back to sleep.

katsuki wakes up with a splitting headache. he feels like he can puke his guts out.

he tries to roll over on the bed, wanting to stuff his face into a pillow to try to ease his headache.

but there's a weight on his arm preventing himself from doing so.
katsuki flutters his eyes open-- and his heart melts at the sight of shiori curled up against his chest.

he runs his fingers through her curly green hair, shiori's scent of warm milk threatening to soothe katsuki back to sleep.

the alpha hears the door open.
he perks up immediately at the sight of izuku.

"she's still sleeping?" the omega asks in disbelief, sitting on the bed carefully.

izuku smells like shampoo, katsuki notes.

"she looks just like you." the blonde murmurs, looking down at shiori fondly.
he doesn't see the way izuku blushes.

"when she wakes up, she'll be so excited to see you." izuku says, fiddling with his hands.

the omega looks nervous. when katsuki notices, he reaches out to hold one of the greenettes hands.
"what's wrong?" katsuki searches for izuku's gaze, but izuku refuses to look at him.

the omega takes a breath. "do you mean what you said last night?"

katsuki doesn't waste a second to answer. "of course i do."

izuku looks restless. his eyes are watery.
"whats going through that pretty head of yours, huh?" katsuki sits up, careful not to wake shiori up.

izuku let's out a humorless laugh.

"lots of things." he admits. "fixing our marriage is easier said than done. i'm scared, kacchan."

katsuki falters.
"i want to be with you. i really do." izuku holds katsuki's hand. "but you divorced me once, whats to say you won't do it again?"

of course. katsuki was naive to think izuku would take him back with open arms.

"it's one thing to give me hope, but to give shiori hope..." izuku
shakes his head with a sniffle, "i can't put her through that again."

"i understand." katsuki whispers. he sounds defeated. maybe its the hangover, but katsuki feels like throwing up.

izuku gazes down at shiori. it was his turn to run his fingers through her hair. katsuki knows
the omega is fighting back tears.

but katsuki can't give up. theres a nagging feeling in his chest, he can't give up just like that.

"izuku, i know you're scared." the alpha says after a moment of silence. "you have every right to be scared. but i really, really meant it when i
asked for a second chance. i know i'm stupid for realizing so late, but you're worth more than some random job."

"so when you find a job you really want again, you won't leave me?" izuku pushes.

katsuki decides its best to stay quiet. izuku's words feel like a slap to the face.
izuku sighs. "look, we can talk about this more. but today, lets just be here for shiori's birthday."

katsuki watches the omega lay out a spare change of clothes for him. izuku points to the bathroom, and the alpha easily complies.
by the time he's done showering, shiori is wide awake-- shoveling pancakes into her mouth at the dinner table.

"good morning, baby." katsuki smiles, taking note of how cute she looks in her little mermaid pj's.

shiori holds up a forkful of pancakes to katsuki. "daddy, say
'ahhh!'"

despite his queasy stomach, katsuki accepts the pancakes. he tries not to cringe from how much syrup the pancakes had.

when he takes a quick glance at izuku, he can't help the way his heart soars when he sees the fond look on izuku's face.
--

"don't tell anyone i said this," camie takes a long sip at her matcha frappuccino, "but you can like totally sue mr. hakamada."

the blonde omega had invited katsuki out for lunch as soon as she came back from south korea. katsuki told her everything, and camie was in shock.
"for what?" katsuki grumbles, stabbing his fork into his salad.

camie stares into space. katsuki thinks she's an airhead.

"well, he fired you for no reason." she says after a while.
"so like, wrongful termination. or something like that. hey if you cry hard enough, you can seek emotional compensation too!"

katsuki pauses. was that truly possible? but what does he get out of suing mr. hakamada?
"money, duh." camie groans. katsuki must have said his thoughts outloud. "you can totally open up your own line suing a company like ours."

"i'll think about it." katsuki sighs. surely a legal battle against his ex-boss would be a nightmare.
the omega looks at katsuki curiously.

"i assume you've talked to your omega?" she asks.

katsuki turns his attention back to his salad. "yeah. i was an idiot to think he'd take me back after what i did."

camie rolls her eyes. "obviously. you have to fight to earn his trust
back."

the alpha knows. but how? sometimes, katsuki thinks he's a complete idiot.

"you know, your ex-husband is sooo adorable." camie says with a sly smile, "you should win him back before someone steals him."
katsuki knows that camie exclusively dates omegas. he scoffs. "he isn't into omegas."

"you sure?" camie mocks, pointing to someone behind katsuki.

the alpha whips his head around fast enough to make himself dizzy.
izuku had walked into the café, completely oblivious to katsuki to being there.

he's clinging onto another man's arms, laughing about something. the other man is tall, gorgeous.

and the man's omega collar glints almost tauntingly at katsuki.

"he what?!" izuku shrieks, looking up at shouto with utmost jealousy.

izuku had invited the other omega out for lunch. he wanted to thank shouto for working overnight with him until recently.

shouto fiddles with the collar his new alpha gifted him.
kacchan never gave me one, izuku thinks.

"oh, sero is so wondeful, midoriya." shouto blushes. "not even my ex-husband treated me the way he does."

it's a simple leather black collar. in modern times, there's no need for omegas to wear them-- but izuku can't help but want one.
someone bumps into the greenette, practically shoving him into shouto. the streets were crowded, so izuku clings onto the other omega.

"you know, sero owns a tattoo shop around here. we can meet him after lunch." shouto suggests, opening the door to the café. "maybe i can
introduce you to his friend. he's a great guy."

izuku knew that 'introduce' meant that shouto wanted to set him up with someone else.

the greenette lets out a light hearted laugh. "oh, who would want to be with an omega who already has a kid..."
izuku purses his lips. he doesn't want to meet someone else anyway.

"dilfs are quite popular these days." shouto says. that only makes izuku laugh again.

the café is full, and the line to order is long. izuku pouts. he should've suggested some place else.
"actually..." izuku sighs. "i talked to my ex-husband the over day."

this catches shouto's full attention.

"he still loves me. he wants me to give him another chance." izuku hesitates, "and i want to. but i'm scared."
shouto nods. "if my ex had asked the same when i still loved him, i would've been scared to give him another chance too."

izuku feels himself deflate, clinging onto shouto tighter. shouto was his only friend, and quite frankly the one who understood what he felt
the most in the whole mess of his divorce.

"i love him, shouto." the greenette smiles sadly. shouto only pats his arm in comfort.

suddenly, izuku is no longer attached to shouto's arm. familiar pheromones fill his senses.

"you should try their hot chocolate." katsuki suggests,
wedged between the two omegas. "with melted marshmellows, and three spoons of sugar."

izuku blinks up at katsuki, who only stares back at him with a fuming look on his face.

then izuku's face flushes red. it's the bare minimum, but katsuki remembers his favorite order.
he sees katsuki turn his attention to shouto. "nice hair, dipshit. you use that to steal other people's omegas?"

"why would you say that?" izuku gasps, pulling katsuki away from shouto.

shouto glances knowingly between them.
he puts on the show of his phone ringing, izuku knows no one is calling him because shouto is a bad actor, and answers.

"hello?" shouto clears his throat, turning to look at izuku apologetically. "i'm so sorry, midoriya, but i have to leave."

before izuku can say something,
shouto had already left the café.

"you scared off my employee!" izuku whines.

"the red-bean pancakes here are good as well." katsuki states, ignoring izuku.

izuku huffs and looks through the menu. the red bean pancakes did sound enticing.

the omega can smell something sweet
on katsuki. like expensive perfume. izuku tries to ignore it.

but when we looks around the café, his eyes land on the blonde omega that he's seen with katsuki before.

the scent patches block it, but izuku's scent is sour.
"i think i should go." izuku mumbles, not sparing katsuki a glance as he turns on his heels to leave.

the air outside is cold and izuku huddles into his coat. he's sad. sad that katsuki was with someone else, sad that things between them weren't the same anymore.
izuku feels like crying, but maybe its come to a point where he should stop.

he stops at a crosswalk, waiting for the light to turn green. his stomach rumbles from hunger.

then, his senses are full of katsuki again.

a scarf is wrapped around his neck gently. izuku can't help
but inhale the scent of cinnamon and spice.

"i get that i ruined your date." katsuki gruffs, fiddling with the scarf. "but try not to act like you hate me for the sake of my heart.

izuku nuzzles his face into the scarf. he appreciates the warmth. "you were the one on a date."
"i wasn't. she's my coworker. or atleast was." katsuki says. "she wanted to know what happened."

"we're not together. you don't have to explain yourself." izuku spits before thinking.

katsuki goes quiet. izuku wants to smash his head against a pole.
"i love you." katsuki murmurs. "i don't want you to misunderstand."

izuku's face burns up. katsuki was so unfair.

the light flickers, and people are crossing the street. izuku turns to katsuki.

"i'm hungry. treat me to lunch." he grumbles.

if katsuki had a tail, it would've
wagged.

--

they're eating burgers. izuku is stealing katsuki's fries.

"that was my friend shouto. at the café." izuku says, taking a sip of his drink. "we work the press together."

katsuki nods. "i thought he was an alpha. he smelled like one."
izuku laughs at that. "that's because his alpha gifted him a collar."

katsuki makes a face. he takes a bite at his burger. the blonde's canines glint, and izuku shifts in his seat.

"you never gave me a collar." izuku points out. the alpha coughs.
"because you're your own person. not my damn property." katsuki grumbles. "same reason why i never bit you."

that was such a katsuki thing to say. even though he was slightly disappointed, izuku couldn't help but smile and feel giddy.

"i always wanted you to give me one." izuku
sighs, finishing up his burger.

though, it was nice to know that katsuki respects him that much.

they chat for a bit more before parting ways. shiori would be out of school soon, and katsuki said he had matters to attend to.

"would you like to come over for dinner again
this weekend?" izuku asks as they walk out of the restaurant.

katsuki is quick to answer. "i'd love to."

izuku practically skips on his way home. who knew dinner with your ex-husband would be so enjoyable.

after picking up shiori, the day flies. the weeks goes by fast.
and katsuki is all that izuki can think about.

one evening, there's a knock at the door when izuku is preparing shiori's lunch.

when he opens the door, he sees a gift bag hanging on his doorknob.

when he opens it, izuku feels a beautiful feeling in his chest.
it's a collar. but it wasn't made of typical leather. its made of fine emerald lace, soft and silky to the touch. there's small details woven into it-- izuku knows that its hand made. its thin, so it doesn't really look like a collar.

the collar hugs his neck comfortably.
it smells exactly like katsuki.

izuku smiles to himself.

katsuki was trying to court him again.

katsuki is working on some designs when he hears a knock at his door.

he checks the camera, secretly hoping its the pair of greenettes he loves the most.

instead, he's met with the cunning face of his ex-boss.

the door flies open, and katsuki
narrows his eyes at tsunagu. "why are you here?"
tsunagu pushes katsuki to the side as he walks in, not even caring to take off his shoes.

"visiting my esteemed student, why else?" tsunagu drawls, looking around the studio as if it was made of dirt.
"i'm wondering why you aren't on your knees begging for your job back."

katsuki feels a growl build in his throat. "get out."

"such wasted potential." tsunagu sighs, making himself comfortable on the couch. "you're like me in many ways, katsuki. you could've been someone."
katsuki clenches his jaw. he doesn't even know what to say.

"i am someone." katsuki says after a while. "i'm a father."

the alpha sees the way tsunagu's eyes roll.

"i have a chance to get my family back. i'm not gonna blow it for some job." katsuki says lowly. "so get out."
"katsuki, you have the potential to become editor in chief at the magazine. you'll have power, influence." tsunagu grits. he sounds like he's scolding a child.

the alpha only laughs in response. "i'd rather not live a lonely, miserable life."

that seemed to affect tsunagu.
katsuki shifts in his spot.

"if people only pursued happiness in life, they wouldn't make it that far." tsunagu says through his teeth. "don't be an idiot."

"you know whats the problem with you, mr. hakamada?" katsuki forces a smile, catching tsunagu's eyes.
tsunagu shakes his head in warning, but katsuki doesn't care.

"you don't know what its like to love and be loved. the only person you care about is yourself." katsuki spits, every word laced with venom.

tsunagu opens his mouth to retaliate, but katsuki raises his hand up to
silence him.

"i gave up my family for my job. my whole life was on the table, and you fired me over nothing." katsuki says. "and i'm going to make you pay."

the alpha holds the door open. "you can keep your power and influence. good luck on your 5th divorce. now get the fuck
out of my studio."
--
"kacchan, this is expensive!" izuku shrieks.

katsuki had shown up to izuku's apartment for their weekend dinner bringing yet another courting gift.

the omega gawks at the lush coat-- it's dior, double sided wool, and a dark navy blue.
katsuki helps shiori sit at the table, planting a kiss to the top of her head. "yours was worn down already. you need something to last for the winter."

izuku pouts and neatly stores the coat back inside its box.
he pads over to katsuki anxiously, clinging onto his shoulder.

"a department store coat would have been fine..." the greenette says.

"it's not the first time i've gifted you designer." katsuki gruffs. "now sit your ass down and eat."

"daddy said a bad word!" shiori shouts.
izuku glances back at the gift. it was a beautiful coat. however, he still feels bad for having such an expensive gift.

"but you don't have a job right now. you could've used the money on something important." izuku scolds.

katsuki eases izuku into the chair next to him.
"you are important." katsuki reasons.

"smooth talker." izuku grumbles.
shiori pipes in. "papa hates smooth talkers!"

"oh really?" katsuki smiles slyly. "but thats how i won him over in the first place."

izuku slaps his alpha on the shoulder, his face a deep red.
"nuh-uh! the other day, our neighbor tried to smooth talk papa. papa did this!" shiori says, poiting her middle finger at katsuki with an innocent look on her face.

izuku can't help but burst into giggles, hiding his face behind his hands. his daughter was too cute.
katsuki rolls up the sleeves of his shirt. "which apartment does that neighbor live in, babygirl?"

izuku has to stop katsuki from leaving his apartment that night. shiori wasn't much help, as she was too busy screaming "mr. shindo, my daddy is gonna beat you up!" out the window.
the omega has to thank the pup, though.

because when katsuki sleeps over that night, the alpha spends hours scenting izuku.

by morning, the whole apartment reeks of katsuki's possessiveness. izuku is too in love to mind.
little does izuku know about the mess unraveling in katsuki's personal life.

"we'll take your case." the laywer states. "we'll contact you with further information. in the mean time, collect as much evidence as you can."

katsuki's mind swirls as he leaves the lawfirm. he feels nervous. then he feels regretful-- this wouldn't have happened
if he had just stayed with izuku in the first place.

camie is waiting outside. she's smoking on a cigarette and chatting up to an omega. katsuki rolls his eyes.

"be careful with this one." katsuki warns, looking at camie disaprovingly.
the omega blushes furiously and scurries away. camie groans.

"she was so cute, why would you do that?" camie hisses, following katsuki as he strides down the street.

"they're taking my case." katsuki says. "wrongful termination, intimidation, emotional distress
- the whole enchilada."

camie chews on her lip. "that's great, but we know this won't be easy."

the alpha nods. tsunagu put everything he had into his career. katsuki's lawsuit would threaten that very career.

an idea pops into katsuki's head. "the day tsunagu fired me,
we were in my office."

"the security cameras must have picked it up." camie continues. "i'll check with security today. have you told your omega?"

katsuki shakes his head. "this is my mess. i don't want him involved."
camie shoots him a look. she didn't have to say it, but katsuki knew she was calling him an idiot.
--
izuku is typing away at his computer when katsuki arrived at his apartment.

the greenette had given him a spare key. 'just in case' izuku had reasoned.
the greenette has been working from home lately-- there was a leak at his office.

izuku leaps up from the couch and pads over to katsuki. he helps him take off his coat. the blonde feels like they're married all over again.

"you found anything?" the omega asks.
right. katsuki had told izuku that he had gone job hunting instead of consulting with a laywer. he shakes his head.

izuku smiles. "that's okay. i'll be the breadwinner."

the two laugh. izuku was lucky enough to barely make the minimum wage.
katsuki wraps his arms around izuku's waist, inhaling his sweet lavender and milk scent to calm his nerves.

he missed being able to cling onto his omega.

"you're such a baby." izuku giggles, pulling away a bit just to look up at katsuki. "have you had breakfast yet?"
having those beautiful green eyes gaze at him so lovingly does things to katsuki. mindlessly, he kisses the top of izuku's head before pulling away.

"no. i'll cook something for us." katsuki says, turning on his heels to head towards the kitchen.
the alpha turns his head to ask what the omega was craving, but stops when izuku's scent spikes with frustration.

izuku pouts. "are my lips to far? am i too short?"

katsuki cocks his head. what was he talking about?
katsuki opens his mouth, but izuku is walking towards him with determination on his pretty little face.

the omega yanks him down by the collar of his shirt, and before katsuki knows it, izuku's lips are on his.

katsuki feels like a teenager all over again.
he doesn't know how to move his lips. he hasn't kissed izuku in over a year.

izuku falters. he pulls away with a hurt look. "i'm sorry." he murmurs. katsuki not kissing back clearly discouraged him.
but katsuki pulls him back in again and kisses the omega with fervor. it's chaste kiss after kiss, each kiss lingering with different emotion.

katsuki feels the omega's hands in his hair, and he's hitches izuku up by his thighs.
soon they're both tangled up in eachother, gasping for breath and completely in love.

breakfast is forgotten. they're too busy making up for lost time.

there's a tense feeling in the air at vivi magazine.

last month's issue didn't sell well. tsunagu's divorce ended horribly once again. and katsuki's lawsuit finally came through.

the video of tsunagu firing katsuki was circulating online, and the
whole company is catching flack.

camie only sips her tea quietly in the corner of the meeting room.

"that prick." tsunagu heaves, sitting down after making a mess in the room. "wrongful termination? who does he think he is?"
all the executives in the company can only sit nervously.

"intimidation and emotional distress as well." camie adds unhelpfully.

tsunagu errupts into his third tantrum that morning.
---
izuku is upset when he walks into his apartment that night.

shiori and katsuki are sitting on the floor, fabric of all colors surrounding them. their pup is playing with her dolls, and katsuki is busy working a needle and thread.
"papa!" shiori exclaims, skipping up to izuku and showing off her doll. "daddy is making dresses for my dolls."

izuku smiles down at her, soothing down her wild green curls.
"that'a nice, baby." he says, eyes trailing to katsuki. "but i need to talk to daddy right now."

shiori's face falls. her eyes fall to her feet and she fiddles with her hands. but she doesn't say anything and onlys nods.
katsuki gently closes the door behind them when they move to izuku's room. the omega pulls his phone out of his pocket.

"what's this?" izuku asks, showing the headline of a news article.

it's the video of katsuki getting fired. the alpha's face is blurred, but izuku immediately
knew who he was.

katsuki sighs. "izuku, listen--"

"lawsuit? wrongful termination, intimidation?" izuku tosses his phone on the bed, pacing around the room nervously. "why didn't you tell me?"
katsuki grimaces. he tries to steady izuku, but the omega shakes off his grip. "i didn't want you to worry over this."

izuku scoffs. "yeah, well, i'm totally not worried after seeing that video. why did i have to find out about this through the internet, katsuki?"
katsuki's scent sours. izuku only glares up him.

"because this has nothing to do with you." katsuki says lowly.

the omega feels his chest tighten. he feels beyond upset. he can't believe katsuki didn't tell him anything.
just when izuku finally felt like his life was going normal again.

"well, i'm glad to see that you're serious about getting back together with me." izuku laughs. "still making important decisions by yourself!"

katsuki's face flashes with hurt. izuku doesn't regret what he said
a heavy silence falls between the two.

izuku's eyes are watery, and he's trembling with anger.

"do you have any idea how i felt watching that video?" the omega asks, "hearing what that man said about me and shiori? how he was talking to you?"

"i'm sorry." katsuki says,
"i'm sorry i didn't say anything."

katsuki's arms are around izuku, and the omega can't help but bury his face into his chest.

"you stupid alpha. why do you always try to suffer on your own? do you not trust me?" izuku cries. "before i was your husband, i was your bestfriend.
we're supposed to go through things together."

it takes a while to soothe izuku. katsuki tells him everything-- from the night he was fired to tsunagu's strange visit. izuku becomes more livid with every detail.

at some point, shiori lets herself into the room.
she crawls into izuku's arms, pumping out her own milk-scented pheromones to soothe her father.

izuku brushes shiori's bangs out of her family. "we're a family. we do things together." he states.

shiori pumps her small fist in the air. "family!"
katsuki leans into izuku, wrapping his arms around the pair of greenettes.
--

izuku takes a breathe, rubbing his sweaty palms over the coat katsuki gifted him.

he's nervous, but his determination allows him to continue dragging his feet. he stands in front of the
reception desk, clearing his throat to gain attention.

the receptionist looks izuku up and down. "can i help you?"

"i'm here to meet hakamada tsunagu." the omega says.

izuku shifts in his place awkwardly.

truly, he didn't plan this out right. the omega thought he could come in and give tsunagu a piece of his mind-- but he's frozen as the man stares him down.
"pairing dior with department store is definitely a choice." tsunagu says.

izuku knows he's not the most fashionable person out there, but its embarrassing to have it pointed out.

the omega clears his throat and hopes the flush on his face isn't noticeable.
"i'll tell my husband to drop the lawsuit." he says. "under one condition."

tsunagu's interest is piqued. he motions for the omega to continue.

"resign from your role." izuku demands.
tsunagu scoffs, clearly taken aback. he looks at izuku as if he told a joke, but the omega is serious.

"i've been in this career for 20 years," tsunagu leans forward in his seat, "why should i give it up over a nobody throwing a tantrum?"
"because you're nobody to me. i didn't even know who you were before i saw that video of you berating my family." izuku growls. "you forced katsuki to give up everything, it's only fair you do the same."

tsunagu only glares at the omega.
izuku shrugs, trying to ignore the way his hands are shaking with anxiety. "i was trying to help you out. its not fair that the whole company is getting affected, but i guess you don't mind the lawsuit."

izuku lets his eyes roam over the beta.
he thinks tsunagu is ill-considered. he even wonders how katsuki put up with him, or how tsunagu managed to convice katsuki to divorce izuku in the first place.

"also, i'm not a distraction. neither is my daughter." izuku says, fiddling with his fingers.
"i love katsuki. i'll support him in everything. maybe one day you'll know what it's like to have someone who loves and supports you unconditionally."

tsunagu forces his attention back to the paperwork on his desk. "don't be pathetic. he divorced you."
izuku falters slightly. maybe he was pathetic, just a little. but he knows katsuki loves him-- always had.

judging by the way tsunagu was ignoring him, izuku thinks the conversation is over. he turns on his heels to leave.
until tsunagu speaks again. "i'll resign. but tell your husband to stop crying and come back to work."

izuku smiles cheekily. "i'll think about it."
--
"what the hell happened to doing everything together as a family?" katsuki gruffs.
they're both waiting outside of shiori's school, izuku hugging the alpha's arm. he had told katsuki about his conversation with tsunagu. katsuki is sulking.

izuku ignores katsuki's question with a giggle. he deserves to go behind the alpha's back atleast once.
"let's get married." the greenette says. "move into my apartment."

the grumpy look on katsuki's face is replaced by a gentle smile. "so demanding."
"and go back to work, to vivi magazines." izuku smiles back at katsuki. "try not to divorce me this time, this is your second chance."

"i thought you were gonna be the breadwinner." katsuki jokes. izuku playfully slaps his arm.
the greenette leans up to kiss katsuki. its a chaste kiss. his scent spikes with joy.

shiori comes running out the gate with a large smile on her face as soon as she sees her dads there.

"daddy! papa!" she squeals. izuku watches katsuki lean down, catching their pup
in his arms.

shiori looks so happy. "can we get hot chocolate? pretty please?"

the two can't say no.

--
katsuki blends right back into work. he's barking orders as if he had never left.
"where are the versace coats i ordered?" katsuki sighs, adjusting the pants on the model. "someone hand me the pair of jimmy choo boots."

he won't lie, he missed his job.
katsuki is about to yell at someone for not bringing the things he asked for until the buzzing of his phone catches his attention.

shiori had sent him a funny selfie of her and izuku.
"you bastards are lucky my daughter is cute." katsuki grumbles, smiling down at his phone.

things at work were fairly normal. tsunagu had actually resigned... at least from being editor in chief.
an executive was taking his place until tsunagu chose someone else. the beta was still hovering around the company-- overseeing everything.

"that omega of yours..." tsunagu says one day during an editorial shoot, "is something."
katsuki nods. izuku was fucking amazing, he already knew that.

"you could at least teach the poor thing how to dress." tsunagu adds. katsuki has to grit his teeth.

--
as months go by, katsuki grows more busy. he earns enough to move his family into a small house in the outskirts of tokyo.

everyday he comes home to find izuku typing away at his computer. the omega is finally writing his own children's book.
katsuki slumps down next to izuku, closing his eyes. he inhales his omega's scent. he feels at home.

he feels izuku shift. "go to bed, kacchan."

"i'll wait for you." katsuki whispers. he opens his eyes to gaze at izuku, only to see the omega looking back at him lovingly.
one moment led to another. suddenly, they're laying in their bed. katsuki watches izuku heave above him as he kisses every freckle littered across his chest. he holds his omega tenderly, running his large hands down izuku's naked back to his hips.
"izu." katsuki breathes, moving his hips in a way that wrings out another beautiful sound from the omega's lips.

everything was perfect. as if nothing happened between them. he feels the coolness of izuku's wedding on his neck as the greenette holds onto him for dear life.
"claim me." katsuki demands.

izuku looks concerned. "omegas aren't supposed to--"

"i don't give a shit just do it." the alpha groans.
katsuki watches izuku's omegan fangs glint in the moonlight. his omega kisses along his neck, settling on the crevice where katsuki's shoulder meets his neck.

teeth sink into skin. the venom makes katsuki's mind go blank. it hurts like hell, but thats what he asked for.
a bliss overcomes the two. when katsuki comes back to his senses, izuku his carefully lapping at his neck to soothe the bite.

"are you okay, kacchan?" izuku asks.

potent lavender fill his senses. katsuki has never felt so whole in his life.
--
a few years go by.

izuku is on the rise as an author. his books are loved and cherished by children. and today, katsuki becomes the editor in chief at vivi magazines.
the omega feels himself fall in love all over again as katsuki gives a speech. his alpha is clad in a tight fitting suit-- looking as handsome as ever. and izuku's mark is on display for everyone to see.

to his side, shiori plays with her baby brother, aoi.
the two little greenettes are giggling about something. the scent of milk and shiori's newly presented citrus pheromones bring a sense of joy to izuku's inner omega.

"pa, can we go get dinner after this? the food here is crap, and i'm hungry." shiori looks up at izuku hopefully.
her vocabulary clearly comes from katsuki. izuku shakes his head with a chuckle. "we have to be here with daddy. it'd be rude if we left."

"oh come on!" shiori groans to herself before turning her attention back to little aoi.
katsuki's speech ends, and the venue errupts with clapping. the alpha tries to exit the stage, but he's held back by journalists. izuku sees the alpha look to him for help, but the omega can only giggle.

there's a hand on izuku's stomach.
he turns to see camie, who squeals as she feels the roundess of it. "oh my god! you guys really went for another one!"

izuku blushes furiously.
"after this one, tell katsuki to get a vasectomy." another voice chimes in. tsunagu is sipping at his wine, a new engagement ring glimmering on his finger.

"three kids isn't a lot." izuku says sheepishly.
tsunagu tuts in disapproval. "but the one going through all the pain and struggle is you."

as if on cue, izuku's back begins to hurt and he feels the ache of his feet. maybe he should bring up the conversation later.
there's a warm hand on the middle of izuku's back, and katsuki comes into view.

"we're sneaking off. the food here is shit." he grumbles, clearly annoyed with the event.

katsuki takes aoi into his arms, helping izuku gather their things. shiori clings onto the omega,
clearly happy that they're leaving.

the small family makes it outside, piling into katsuki's car. after making sure the kids were secured in the back, izuku watches katsuki rush to his side. the alpha helps him into the front seat, buckling him in and everything.
"what are you craving?" katsuki asks.

izuku ponders for a moment. "burgers and milkshakes."

the alpha leans in to kiss him sweetly.
in no time, they're sitting in a small restaurant. the family dines happily. izuku holds his alpha's hand under the table, playing with katsuki's wedding ring.

"i love you." katsuki tells him.

"i love you too." izuku smiles.

end.

extras!
shouto marries his new alpha, sero hanta.

sometimes the couple visits izuku to help out with the kids. shiori and aoi love them.

one day, izuku and shouto watch hanta playfully wrestle with the kids. izuku is smiling, but he senses sadness from the omega next to him.
"i'm infertile. i can't give him pups." shouto sighs over a cup of coffee. izuku rubs his back in comfort.

izuku is unsure of what to say. in fact, he feels bad rubbing his hand over his swollen belly.
"well... if you two want kids, there's always the option of adopting." the greenette suggests. shouto onlys ponders.

so the day that shouto calls him and excitedly tells izuku he adopted, the greenette immediately rushes over to meet the couple's new pup.
only to see a big, fat orange cat sprawled in hanta's lap.

the couple looks happy and completely enamored with their cat. izuku smiles ear to ear.

katsuki and izuku welcome their third pup.

unlike aoi and shiori, this one comes out with tuffs of blonde hair and big carmine eyes.

"pretty!" aoi exclaims, reaching out to touch his new sister. izuku had named her sachiko.
shiori, who had just presented as an alpha, holds sachiko protectively. she watches aoi intently, making sure he doesn't hurt the baby.

katsuki turns to izuku, who is taking a well needed nap. he wishes his omega could see their pups all together.
the alpha kneels in front of all his kids and gives each of them a kiss on the forehead. he'll make sure to thank izuku for birthing such beautiful pups when he wakes up.

one day, sachiko comes home crying from school. there's dirt and twigs stuck in her blonde curls, and aoi is trying his best to calm her down.

izuku and katsuki are at work. shiori bursts into the room, wondering what's wrong with her omegan siblings.
"some high schoolers were picking on me. sachiko tried to help." aoi mutters nervously, trying to hide the rips on his middle school uniform.

that day, izuku and katsuki are called to the police station. shiori was involved in a fight with a bunch of high schoolers.
katsuki can't help but puff his chest with pride when he sees that the other students look worse.

and shiori looks smug as she sports her first muzzle.

katsuki doesn't even know why he accepted the blind date. he's on his third moscow mule of the night, still sitting at the bar 2 hours after his date was supposed to show up.

katsuki learns that its a bad idea to have your friends set you up with someone you don't know.
a can of sprite slides into his view.

"i didn't order this." katsuki grumbles.

he flicks his gaze toward the bar tender-- only to meet kind, gentle green eyes.

the man's curly hair is the shade of beautiful emerald. there's freckles dusting his rosy cheeks.
katsuki thinks he's cute.

"we're closing soon." the greenette says. "were you waiting for someone?"

katsuki feels embarrased. "yeah, but i guess i'll leave--"

the bartender fiddles with his hands nervously, blush becoming more evident even in the dim light.
