Feels strange to feel that I need to say this, but (especially to newer followers):

Aside from 100 bucks or so for writing a guest article (once), I’ve never made a dime from any of this.

I’m just a guy who grew up in the breeding ground of our current situation, and who

… ended up spending an inordinate amount of time trying to understand what I was seeing.

A couple of good friends told me to create a twitter account… and I did.

I’m not a part of any group or organization (and would say so if I were).

I rarely promote or endorse people

… because I prefer to promote information and ideas.

If I endorse a given person or group, I’ll do so explicitly (you’ll know it and I will explain why).

I’m have a career apart from all of this. I had the luxury of taking a break from that for a little while, and now…

… I no longer have that luxury. Simple as that.

I have two young kids that are my priority, and they (and their futures) are the reason I burn the candle at both ends and keep doing this.

Take it for what it’s worth.

And now I will look for more important news to retweet, to bury this thread under my timeline b/c none of this is about me.

Just (again, strangely), felt like it needed to be said.
