The parole process is now out. This is a streamlined and fee exempt program for certain Afghans paroled in during the NEO and aftermath. This is a big deal. Thank you to our USG partners who made this happen. This is not a permanent fix and we still need the #AfghanAdjustmentAct

It’s not a perfect process, so eligible parolees should not hesitate to seek help from an expert or immigration attorney if they need. But it’s a lot better than where we were a month ago. Lots of experts worked hand in hand with the USG to show them what right looks like.
Folks will need a MyUSCIS account to get this done, however there is a paper process if that’s not available. Here’s an explainer from USCIS

We still need the #AfghanAdjustmentAct to finish the deal here. Without permanent status, the tens of thousands of people who don’t yet have a pathway are still in limbo. We must keep pushing till we get this done.
