@BestForBritain I missed this shit shower of Govt positioning yesterday; I wish I could pretend It wasnt real, its so awful. #FFS!
@BestForBritain It raises so many questions -it's an abomination against HumanRights, ECHR/ employment law, maritime law, God, the ramifications are making my head spin.
@BestForBritain First off; as its fresh in my mind, the Govt Borders Bill; that covers a lot of Governmental 'ambition' in controlling free movement of own citizens, who (need I add) are entitled to be here, nontheless; that Bill can add extra " checks" . (Tory bastards)
@BestForBritain Where I found 'Borders Bill' in the first place was looking at Gosport Plan ( inside #SolentFreeport) as #GosportsPlan specifically deals with Asylum seeker on ex-MOD land at Gosport.
@BestForBritain Note that the Borders Bill covers all transport; including trains ; And that Catalyst ( partner to Network Rail) are delivery partners (with Solent LEP / LEP Network and also to Solent Maritime) for Delivery of Freeports in U.K. Then there’s Hendy Report on rail in background.
@BestForBritain Except, of course, the 'real' crims, who get carte-blanche to do WTF they like- #SLAPS/Putin's Chef/ElliottHiggins/ Slapps case is one example of where UK Govt lawyers have assisted Lawyers working for Putin/ Oliggarchs.
@BestForBritain Screenshot “ Who DO NOT make an Asylum claim or Raise a formal application for Protection in U.K. “
@BestForBritain Conflicting, much. Especially as Braverman was forced to admit in Committee, that Uk does NOT offer safe & legal routes into U.K.
@BestForBritain ‘apply the principle of the partnership to all individuals who enter or arrive in the UK illegally regardless of whether they have made a protection claim,’
@BestForBritain ‘human rights claim or claim to be a victim of modern slavery or human smuggling and have not come directly from a territory where their life and freedom was threatened;’
@BestForBritain Human rights / Slavery anyone? ‘and have not come directly from a territory where their life and freedom was threatened;’
@BestForBritain Copied & pasted; ‘REAFFIRMING the commitment to support people in need of protection through safe and legal routes, the United Kingdom will seek to maintain such routes and create more to redress the balance between illegal and legal migration routes;’
