Solomon and his relation to the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Bad. One of my favorite stories.

Discerning between good and bad is a way to fix the problems that occur under the disobedience of TKGB. The interpretation that TKGB means "knowing duality" is not correct. What is correct is that after improperly eating TKGB man needs to "dress himself" in order to avoid death.
Once there is confusion of good and bad, then man needs to "rectify" this confusion by establishing a clear separation between G&B. Then the problems due to the confusion can be "fixed".
Look at what Solomon does with his discernment of G&B. He is able to solve the riddle of the 2 prostitutes, where there is confusion of motherhood. He does it by using Machiavellian techniques btw. He pretends he wants to "cut the baby" but this is a lie/ruse to expose the lies.
So he uses deception and the threat of the sword (this is the flaming sword btw) to solve this confusion. But really he is fooling them. The woman who accepts to lose the child is the real mother. So Solomon is using inversion tactics here, and reverse signals etc. Very Clever.
This is another example (along with Joseph) of the TKGB being used against itself and becoming a tree of Life. In the end, the life of the Baby was saved and the rightful mother got justice, and the confusion was resolved. It's a very important story. Thanks for bringing it up.
